    I have been trying for over 10 months now to get them to change my loan amount on my PPP loan. It’s just empty promise after empty promise. Now I can’t even get ahold of them. I’ve filed countless complaints. Do not, under any circumstances, bank with them.

    I’ve been a member of this credit union since the end of 2016 and it makes me feel like I’m a student again at FAMU and having to deal with the Office of Financial Aid. That was a horrifying experience to say the least. It is downright shameful how they operate as a business, particularly a BOB. All I’ll say is that the reviews don’t lie and we all can’t be wrong.

    This credit union could use improvement. They charge you $1 every time you call to speak about your account lol. There is no way to make a payment online. Some of the staff are rude. They never answer the phone, I literally have to use 2 phones and call them back to back all while hoping and wishing that someone decides to answer.

We do offer a mobile deposit option already that allows you to take a picture of your check with a smartphone and make deposits and loan payments. We also offer debit cards that provide deposit options through the CULIANCE ATM network. We are a small credit union with a limited number of staff members but we have technology and superior customer service skills training on the top of our to do list for 2020.     Do not risk banking or applying for a loan with them. After, canceling my loan application through an email and a confirmation call they continued to run my credit anyway a week later without even notifying me. I have tried to reach out to bank manager who said she would call me, and give me an answer as to why my credit was ran when the application should have been cancelled. She told me she would call me back, I continued to attempt following up with her and left my number with representatives who said she would reach back out to me however I have heard nothing! The whole application process was not a good experience, and the fact that you have to answer multiple unnecessary questions as to why you want to bank with them through an e-mail was ridiculous. Along side the inconsistent communication as well, this is exactly why I cancelled my application the next day, but I that was not good enough considering the fact that I still got into the situation with them. Long story short, go elsewhere.

    I’m a new member from Polk county Fl with no tides to the community other than wanting to bank with a black owned bank. My experience hasn’t been anything other than pleasant. I’ve had constant conversation via phone and email with “Rose”. Not only did she go out her way to assist me in opening my account she made a follow up call once my deposit posted. I became a voting member of the NAACP an I’m looking forward to a longevity relationship with this bank. I’ve had all types of bank experience why not be understanding and compassionate towards like minded and people who reflect you. FAMU credit union I’m here for long haul can’t want to have my business checks rolling in. $$$ signed a happy new member

    I just received the bill in the mail stating that I have to pay $3897 Which I never received now here it is that I have a bill that I have no acknowledge of and on top of that it messes with my credit. I wonder how long it's going to take them to respond to this letter that I received in the mail today stating that I owe them something that I never received.

    HORRIBLE bank. I’ve tried to support black owned banks but they ruined it. They never answer the phone. They never call back. Just HORRIBLE. Can’t pay your payment over the phone or online which is very inconvenient. So if you move away, you would literally either mail it or have someone go pay it for you. They’re all the way on the south side of Tallahassee. So unless you live on that side it’s quite a drive, and getting someone to go over there can be challenging. Just take your business elsewhere. It’s not worth the headache.

    Well I thought it was just me. I have had the same experience. I applied for a business loan twice, they were supposed to call me back after getting all my personal information 3 times that was over 9 months ago. This is sad and here I am thinking my business was about to blow up instead they knocked me down..

    This bank is TERRIBLE!! I’ve never called a financial institution 13 times and didn’t get an answer. On top of that, the lady in the background said to the CEO that she watched me call AND email 3 times but never acknowledged it. I deposited money in the night drop and after my payment didn’t post I questioned them and in reply the CEO informed me someone from INSIDE of the bank(a worker/teller) removed my payment from the envelope, but received no consequences
