Five County Credit Union US, Yarmouth

I have been with this credit Union for over five years, and they have always treated me, a wage worker, with respect and caring. Recently I met one of their employees, Tracy, at the Scarborough branch. I bank in Portland and she works in Yarmouth. It was only due to a fluke in scheduling that I ended up in Scarborough. Tracy treated me with an incredible amount of kindness when I was going through a really hard time, and helped me secure a loan that I never thought a financial institution would give me, as well as counseling me on how to continue to grow my credit. I also have nothing but praise for the employees of the Commercial St. and Scarborough branches- they have never been anything but understanding and kind to me. This bank hires real people, and their employees treat the members as real people.

I just want to say that I have been with this credit union for 10 years. I've been so fortunate to have dealt with the terrific people at the Yarmouth branch. Tracy, Kim and Jeff have been able to resolve any issue with great expertise, friendliness, knowledge and attention to detail. It has been wonderful to have known them.

I would like to say thank you very much to Tracy Coffen ( Yarmouth Branch). I have had nothing less of excellent Service with five county credit union. But I’d like to recognize Tracy for her outstanding help today assisting me. I would like to take this time to say I am also more then happy to be part of the Five County Credit Union as a member. I am a customer with 100% satisfaction. Keep up the great work. Again Tracy I can’t thank you enough for the help you gave today.

Not customer friendly. They have call centers you can use. No one in the building can help you. We tried using the call center and no one answered and we called twice! Wow I just wanted to put money in my account. It was one of the worst experience at a five county credit union.

Amazing location with Shared Branching capabilities till 8pm using the ITMs inside. The branch is all digital after 4:30. Members can open new accounts and loans using a smart office to speak with a rep in the call center. Beautiful branch, great hours and very nice member service.

Evolve or be left behind. The archaic practices of the credit union are allowing the big banks to keep on being the holders of real wealth and power. Basic services offered by local banks - not even the big banks - are not even close to being an option at FCCU.

Creepy customer service rep that makes comments about your personal financial business. When issue was brought to the manager she gaslighted me and told me he was just “being friendly”. That’s not my kind of friendly. I expect to be treated with common courtesy and have my concerns heard. Manager was very dismissive and rude.
