First National Bank of South Carolina on North Main Street in Summerville is a well managed bank that makes everything very simple and easy to accomplish. The bankers here are very professional and willing to help when you need it. Consistent experience coming here each time.

Low interest rates and lackluster customer service. Had to take care of an IRA issue for a parent and while it was ultimately resolved, the staff acted like we were inconveniencing them. Also while there, we heard an employee give a username and password out over the phone for accessing their account online. We could have easily written that down. I don't want to sound mean but it seems an amateur and overpriced bank.

The staff at this location have been so warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful to me! I just retired to Summerville and moved from Pennsylvania. They have helped set up wiring of house buying and selling wires as well as getting me setup online and assisted with other matters. I am quite happy that I selected FNBSC! I’m looking for a new bank and called to ask a question. They need to work on their lack of customer service Marilyn seem to be in a rush and did not create a good first impression, even after I told her about cutting me off and not even letting me finish my question there was no attempt to even correct it. I’ll continue to look elsewhere
