Standing outside of this Branch this morning from 8:55 on. I waited patiently by the door reading the sign says they open at 9:00 a.m. . At 9:00 a.m. I grabbed the handle to open the door. The woman from behind the counter who had seen me for 5 minutes frantically waved over to indicate there is one minute left on the clock when using my cell phone national time service it was at 901. Then as a proceeded to walk up to the teller they decided to inform me for a second time the doors aren't open until 9:00 a.m. which I am well aware of from the sign on the door that says they open at 9:00 even though they clearly can see a customer out front at 8:59 available ready and patiently waiting. They have a sign up that says redefining customer service. You got that right. Redefined as terrible customer service. The teller that finally did help me was pleasant and I appreciate her service the rest of the staff could use an attitude adjustment. From your first customer Tuesday morning I'm sure you remember.

I don't know why everyone is giving them one star, they are actually a decent bank. Way way way better than any of the big ones like BofA or Wells Fargo, and you can get 0$ in fees if you just sign up for online statements. You can get a freestyle checking (I think it is called) that will provide you with 0 fees, no requirements for transfers, and no minimum balances. Their savings accounts, on the other hand, are pretty poor with a 999$ minimum balance for a 0.001% interest rate.

Bad customer service they won’t even let me pay my car loan, they’ve been giving me the run around for a few weeks already. It’s a shame because I’ve been paying it on time faithfully in person with my own gas money with these high prices.. at least the last thing you can do me make my life easier when I’m tryna pay you guys each month. No.. it’s a mission and y’all want me to travel a half hour away each time or call customer service and wait 2 hours? Is that y’all excuse for everything.. sad Let me make this payment before it hits my credit and I’m affected

This bank has the very worst online banking ever! Customer service is aweful and didn't help me at all! Signing into full online banking is worse than doing my taxes. I will be pulling all my money from this bank Monday morning and joining a credit union. All because I am unable FOR MONTHS to see MY money balance and transactions with their very inconvenient App!

Ever since Metro sold it. It's awful, overdraft fees given 24 hours a day. Because they say transactions can process anytime. But I had money in 7pm that evening wake up to -0 balance. No refunds ever offered even though I have been issuing them for years and quite a bit of money goes through monthly. Half of the time deposits not available next day or there is a hold. No one can give straight answers. Online banking ALWAYS has issues and drive thru takes forever. Only reason I have stayed is I don't want to change my account number but I definitely will be making a change asap. BEWARE and Bank somewhere else!!!!!!

I called to inquire about a deposit that was not processed yet and the branch manager Tim started cursing at me. Will be switching all of my accounts to my other bank.

I'm not sure what bank everyone else that reviewed this, is going to, but it certainly doesn't sound like FNB (First National Bank)! I became a member just before it changed hands from Metro Bank. I have not had a SINGLE problem with this bank. As a matter of fact, I'm surprised how much I am able to depend on FNB! They were open every day of the week but on this site, it reads "Closed Sunday". I should mention the fact that when opening my checking account, I declined all checkbooks and opted for the account setup that doesn't allow deductions for an amount that isn't available. So if I try to use my card (debit or credit) for a $1000 purchase and only have $999, it will decline my card at the register. Automatic deductions (that YOU must set up w your debtors) can come through at any time but will only take the full amount out. I suggest using the check register to keep track of every single deductions including the recurring expenses. I'd also like to state that as with MOST financial institutions in the area, they do not have a public restroom as complained about in a review I read. I would like to add that my favorite fact about this bank is that I get my money FAST! And when dealing with a bank, isn't that what you want?! If I deposit cash in the ATM that's located outside (or conveniently inside) of FNB, even though the receipt states that the balance isn't credited, it actually IS! Cash deposits are credited immediately. And this is the quickest wait time for checks (income tax or employment) as well! I deposited my check at 8pm on a Friday, my account was credited by the time I checked my account the following morning, Saturday! I was able to see this because all FNB account information is readily available online at all times. I know that many people were irritated when the bank changed hands because their funds were frozen. That's totally understandable but it's better then the bank unexpectedly closing and mailing out letter stating that everyone's funds are frozen and will be issued in the form of a check months later AFTER everything is sorted out! I HAVE had nightmare banks (M&T) but this is far from it!

Do not open an account here.. They were great when it was Commerce bank, but now that this bank has been purchased and rebranded 2 different times since then, the fees are ridiculous! Support is awful. Go to a credit union and get better returns for less fees!

I've been using First National for a few years now, and haven't had any problems. Everyone seems friendly and eager to help with your needs.
