First Midwest Bank Fellows Pl, Columbia

I opened an account there to take advantage of their high interest rate promotional offer but found the small print rules (to qualify for the advertised rates) to be very difficult to follow leading me to close the account. Their online banking services are dated and confusing (using a third party website) though local service seems responsive.

Great bank. I have so many good things to say it is hard to put them all down. Aesthetically the bank is awesome. Great board room you can use for meetings/closings. The waiting area has huge TV and great chairs. Tons of drink selection. But what really sets this place off..... The service. I have used many banks and there isn't even a close second. First Midwest handles my personal and business accounts. I have used their lending and it is just so easy with them. Wes has helped me grow my business exponentially and answered any questions I have, even after hours. The rest of the staff is awesome and has gone above and beyond when I needed them. The loan process is so smooth with them and I have had negative experiences at other banks. I really owe a lot of my company's success to them and the help they have provided. I used to think all of the banks were the same... Thanks First Midwest for showing me there is a HUGE difference. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!

The well spoken young man named Cito at the front desk greeted me as soon as I walked in, made me feel comfortable the entire time I was there and found me the person I needed to talk to. His energy and eagerness to help me contributed to an overall positive atmosphere that flows throughout this classy financial institution. You guys are doing it right. 5 stars.

I started banking here for the rates, which beat all of the competition, but the customer service has proved to be even more valuable to me. They are top notch all the way. I highly recommend this bank.

Best bank in town and probably ever. Friendly staff and great lending.
