It’s always an hour + wait time to speak with someone over the phone.

4 hours today just trying to make a CC payment...zero stars would be a better choice...awful stay away. So someone called this morning....left no name...waited on hold for 25 minutes on a return call...no one put notes in my file, they have no idea who I should speak to...Tracy said "how can I help you"? Even the follow up is a mess....how about you hire more people? and train them correctly? another hour today? Seriously? Sad!

I have scrolled through this feed and taken pictures of all of the comments on here that validate my experience with this bank ...what's more insulting is the cookie cutter response from whatever person was assigned this mundane responsibility. No one is fooled by the condescending mock statement. This bank is no more concerned with striving for improvement than the poor quality people they've hired. Going to cause lots of problems for you ....just watch,.

After charging my wife a $35 overdraft fee 7 times even though we had overdraft protection, we're done with this pig sty of a credit union. It's been nothing but problems since day one. Took 2 months for our debit cards to be sent to the right address, never got checks, never was able to setup transfers from another bank due to an error on SJFCU's side. The list goes on! An absolute DUMP with atrocious customer service. Enjoy our $245. We're switching banks and you'll never steal another dime out of our pockets.

I couldn't deposit money through the atm and the only thing that they could tell me is they don't see nothing wrong on they're end. This was after being on hold for 45 minutes jus to speak with someone

Terrible customer service. I was in a boating accident and my checks were slightly weathered. The teller left the desk. And came back two minutes later. He put my checks through the tube and said they couldn't cash the checks. I asked to talk to a manager she said the same thing. There was no attempt to cash the checks. The checks were issued through Well Fargo so I went there. The teller was extremely professional and cashed the checks after a few attempts to process the checks all was good to go. Sad your own bank SJFCU has terrible customer service after years of dedicated patronage. Sad

I'm not a member anymore. Between not refunding overdraft fees for fraudulent purchases, to my card being declined in the most ridiculous of places, to both allowing me and refusing me overdraft protection at the same time, to what I'm about to describe, I can't bank with this institution anymore. I went into a branch the day before a trip out of the country and asked them to note me being out of CONUS for a week. When I arrived at my hotel the next night? Card declined. Even though the funds were available, my card was declined. The CU's anti-fraud hotline was a total joke, and outright said they couldn't and wouldn't do anything to help me. My boyfriend at the time put his card in just so we could get settled in for that night, but that experience was pretty damning for SJFCU. The next morning everything was resolved, but I was pretty miffed that my due diligence wound up being an exercise in wasted time. I now bank with Fulton and they've been pretty good to me. I have no intention of going back to SJFCU. I figured a credit union would care more about its members than this, but I guess not.

This is the worst bank in the area. I've held a savings account at their Moorestown branch of theirs for almost 7 years now and have had the worst experience applying to a credit card. Not only did each one of their representatives AND two of their loan officers give me different information, but NONE of the information was correct! Also, two of the times I went to talk to them about it I was waited on by a man named Ian who was the rudest person I have ever encountered in any kind of customer service. Calling on Monday to report him to whoever manages that branch and promptly taking my money elsewhere.
