This has been my credit union for approximately 20+ years and I have always been treated like a valuable customer. Each and every representative I had met with for various reasons has made my membership worth while. When I call to speak with member services or stop in to speak in person my questions or concerns are always appreciated and approached with great concern and urgency. I have been with FFFCU for over a decade and I couldn't be happier. Their call center reps aren't all that, but, moneywise, FFFCU has done really good by me. If you want a low mortgage, car loan, HELOC rate, FFFCU has got you covered. Their bounced check charges are lower than any bank's.

I have been banking here for a long time. This bank has drastically gone down hill. They do not care about you or protecting you. I have had my debt card number stolen and used way to many times for a card that sits in my desk drawer. The fraud department is a joke they do not care and make mistakes saying its an oversight. I can tell you if their money was taken they wouldn't think its an over sight. My account was drained for a month and a half before they sent emails. and just found out it was hit months before and I lost all that money now because its too late so if you want issues and to lose money bank here. Some one will hack your account number and spend your money and best of luck getting it back. Even the bank manager could not get a ahold of the fraud department. Do yourself a favor and bank with a reputable credit union.

Sorry to do this, but the quality of service has gone downhill significantly in the last few years. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone in under 45+ minutes, and fees have gone through the roof while interest has been reduced to almost nothing. I have tried several times over the last few weeks to call and try to resolve an issue that could become fraud at any time.

I have been here basically my whole life. Never had another bank card. But I officially have opened an account elsewhere. Someone has hacked into my accounts, and as if this situation wasn’t already stressful, every person I talk to about this seems to think it was me. I feel written off, guilty before proven innocent and very disappointed. My credit score is also about to drop drastically due to them only giving this 45 days before they send it to collections. They told me my best bet is to just pay it and “if we do find it’s not you you’ll get your money back”. Highly disappointed with the way they handled this. Will not be using that checking account ever again. This is not the first time my account was compromised and I am truly starting to believe this is an inside job.

For the most part I don't have an issue with First Financial, However this morning on the way to work I wanted to make a deposit and the machine was down. I thought something was wrong with my card or account but when I pulled up to let others go everyone in line was having the same issue. It's nothing like needing to go to the machine quickly while trying to rush to work and can't handle your business. It can sometimes throw your entire day off considering there aren't that many First Financial machines on the way to work.

Very nice staff and office - but was completely blindsided by the $1000 daily spending limit. I went to pay bills and my card kept getting declined, only to be told I can't make over $1000 in debit purchases a day.. and can't take more than $1000 out of the ATM a day either. It's so inconvenient and annoying now I have to switch accounts again to set up my bill payments.

The absolute worst!!! I am so disappointed I signed up with them. They are supposed to work closely with the school district and teachers but their hours are during school time and there is always an insane wait to speak with anyone on the phone. Plus, they don't call you back if you opt for a call back instead of waiting. I've been trying for over a week to get onto online banking, unsuccessfully. I can't access my money, if it's even there. Do not use them if you're thinking about opening an account.

Terrible awful experience. I wasn’t able to get online and the app working. I waited on hold for an hour only to be told they couldn’t help me. I got really bad service at the Lutherville location. The final thing that made me close my account was they thought a check I deposited was fake and froze my money and my account. I spoke to some little brat named James Carter. He was very condensing and his letter to me had about four typos. Once I got someone to unfreeze the money I closed my account.

For the last year now I’ve had nothing but issues. They always seem to be closed for staff training, the online banking is always under maintenance and it never fails to be a royal pain to get logged in to and the thing I can’t stand the most is not being open on Saturday which I’ve never understood. What are you suppose to do if you have account issues? Also they don’t carry cash so forget trying to exchange large bills for small ones. I’ll be making a switch to another bank real soon.
