I have done two VA refinances with First Federal Bank of Kansas City. I was referred to them by another veteran for the first one to change from conventional to a lower interest VA loan. The second was to take advantage of lower interest rates and take cash out to pay off a recreational vehicle loan. In both cases the process was easy. The loan officers were pro-active in pushing the loans through, and in the later refinance went above and beyond to obtain the VA approval since there was a SNAFU regarding obtaining my records due to the COVID 19 shutdown.

Lucky to find FFBKC through Lending Tree! My realtor had recommended a local broker - I looked at 30 yr Va rates on Lending Tree. Chad Goscha was on of the only lenders to give me ‘ball park’ quote without first having to go through the entire application process. Everyone else was ‘ apply, let us do a credit check and will get you a rate...’. Chad was ‘matter of fact’ and said he was ‘ pretty sure he could get 1/2 point off the local Broker rate’ . Of course I needed to apply to get a locked in rate - but it was easy, straight forward, AND met my closing deadline - just over 3 weeks!! I will save 10’s of thousands on this loan.
