Typically it would be a 5 STAR, but actions speak louder than words. During this pandemic, I requested to have assistance with my loan due to lack of work opportunities. However, I was denied. I can only assume its due to my unemployment or my contributor was still working. I have a household of 5 (2 are teen boys). I have reached out to them and requested a call back after holding for over 15 minutes. I understand regulations, but this kind of experience leaves a much deeper, negative experience.

If you ever are looking for a mortgage, and your broker wants to work with First Community Mortgage. Avoid them like the plague. I made a mistake during a VA IRRL refinance, made a mistake by not getting the auto draft turned off in time. I own it, my mistake. But since I will be getting the money back, anyway, I sent a nice email explaining the situation, along with a closing letter from my broker. I got a nice FU email, and when I called back to ask about reconsidering they then got rude. So much for customer service. My only satisfaction is knowing, My House is no longer financed through them and I will eventually get my money back. I hope this can eventually save someone the headaches I just went through.
