First Community Credit Union FM 1488, The Woodlands

I am someone who needed some expert guidance on my financial situation and the Loan Dept went out of their way to help me. I cannot recommend this credit union enough as they are all excellent and compassionate too!

I have been a customer at FCCU for over 2 years and my home branch location is located in the H‑E‑B on 1488. I usually do not write reviews for my banks but I felt that this institution deserves to hear what I thought. First and foremost the unmanned tellers are a lil outdated but the customer service I get from Cyndle and the others far exceeds excellence. I bank there nearly daily and I’m always greeted like I am the most important person to walk in. I get professional service every time and my financial needs are always met. Thank you FCCU and especially Cyndle for taking care of your customers the way a bank / credit union should. The true experience of “the banking customer is the owner of the bank” continues to be this credit unions first priority.

This bank has been such a nightmare! Usually love credit unions but stay far away from this one! Especially if you need a human to do deposits, make change and deal with issues that may arise. All transactions are done through an ATM. If you do have an issue, good luck dealing with the ding-dong they put behind the desk… closing account ASAP!

I tried to open an account online and it was a nightmare and my personal information was compromised. I spent hours on the phone with the local branches and the online account reps and never got the same story twice. I now have a fraud alert on my credit due to this botched experience and would never trust them with my money.

Set up a new account here. Huge thank you to Martin for all his help and making it such an easy & seamless process.

FCCU is great! I've been with them for close to a year now and haven't had any issues. Cyndel helped me set up my account and her and the other staff always help with any issues/concerns that I have. Always friendly and willing to work with you. They are my main financial institution.

I have been coming to this FCCU location for the past three years. I just want to let my neighbors know that this credit union has some of the most friendly, knowledgeable people working there that I have ever encountered in the banking industry. I want to give a shout out to Lauren for all of her help and suggestions! They have very competitive rates and great perks for members. Don't miss this little gem in The Woodlands.

Terrible bank. Accidentally deposited $500 into my account. Did not use my overdraft savings account to cover a check. Customer service admitted it was their fault and refunded the overdraft fee. They also push a terrible life insurance policy from Trustage that isn't worth the paper its written on.

I have never banked at a facility in which the tellers were so helpfuI and kind. I love FCCU especially this location. Each time I have a need, they go out of their way to help me and no question is too simple to answer. It is always a good experience to take care of my business there.

Love this credit union. Cliff Williams has helped us on several occasions and has always been courteous, kind, patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Thank-you for your help.
