    I called at 1pm to let the bank know I would be in at 5pm to open new accounts. The branch was empty of customers when I arrived, one teller and four bankers were working. None of them said hello or offered to help for almost 10 minutes. A woman named Corie Parlette asked if i was there to open accounts after talking to another banker for about 5 minutes without acknowledging my presence. Not only did I tell her I was leaving another banking institution and needed to change all my auto payments, I asked about online banking and how to get that set up and she just said download the app and I could set those up today. I proceeded to give her my cashier check and again said I needed to pay bills over the weekend and she said I could do that through the app. She didn’t go over any of my paperwork, didn’t give me a receipt for my deposit and didn’t offer to help me with the app or online banking. I drove 3 minutes away to my house and tried to find my banking information in the papers she clipped together and no accounts of mine were listed. I actually was given an approval for another customers mortgage line of credit with all their information. I called her office and left her a voicemail stating that she didn’t give me my account numbers. Thankfully I got a direct deposit form with my checking account and by this time it was 6:05pm on Friday so I called the customer service number the next morning to get my online banking set up. I logged in and found out my cashiers check had a 10 day hold on it, I have a -$1.00 balance in my new checking account and I would not be able to access any of my money for my bills. When I asked the phone representative about the hold she confirmed that cashiers checks are never deposited with holds, as they are as good as cash and I would have to wait until Tuesday to get the hold removed since the image of the cashier check wasn’t in the system for her to remove the hold over the phone. Now I have no money, another customer’s mortgage line information and no way to clear this up for 4 days. Corie Parlette is the Senior Financial Service Representative and didn’t inform me of the hold after I repeatedly mentioned my need to pay bills, didn’t offer assistance getting my online banking set up, didn’t give me my paperwork, and handed me financial information for someone else’s account. Never bank here.

    After some thought I decided to give you guys 2 stars instead of 1. Long story short I bought a vehicle from a friend of mine that banks with you guys and you refused to accept the check from my bank (navy federal) because it had both of out names on it and you wanted me to be present for that deposit but It's impossible for me to be present because im active duty military and stationed a few states away. After talking with your customer support line as well as talking with my bank it was agreed that the check could be accepted. However the manager here still flat out refused to accept check. Then AFTER he had mailed the check back to me and I exchanged it for a cashiers check (with just his name on it) you called us and said you would accept it. All of the 2 day shipping back and forth ended up costing $59 and the exchange took weeks longer than it should have. That being said I won't give you one star because most of this was due to you guys being cautious about accepting checks which isn't necessarily a bad thing, also my friend has been banking with you for years and hasn't had any issues with you guys HOWEVER this caused us a bunch of headache and was completely unnecessary.

    Years of good customer service in Forest Grove, Hillsboro, & Newberg, but I am disappointed & I don't appreciate that employees aren't required to be vaccinated..this puts my family at risk. A sign at your door says if you're vaccinated you don't have to wear a mask, yet your employees aren't required to be vaccinated. Take a stand FCCU & make sure your employees are doing the right thing..weather they know it or not, for ALL our safety!!! It's that important to me, it should be to you FCCU of Newberg.!!!!

    This bank is amazing! They are so kind and helpful! They get to know all their customers so well that when you walk in it truly feels like you are a part of a community. My family has both accounts and loans through FCCU and each one was easy to open and is a breeze to manage. Banking here is wonderful.

    This is the place for you to obtain your loan or do your banking! We had a very tough situation with a non local bank whom had no care for our situation after ten years of business. FCCU became our Saving Grace to provide us with a timely, professional and user friendly experience. We were able to obtain a fast track approach to our commercial appraisal and underwriting. Esther was a shining example of what we need more of in the loan industry for personal and business needs. I strongly recommend that my neighbors in the greater Yamhill county area to call for help even if you are in the painful process that other banks are subjecting you to; be wary of banks from out of state and please obtain a second opinion and experience what true customer care and service is suppose to be all about. Breaking up is hard to do but you will be so thankful you did when you talk to Esther at FCCU in Newberg!!

    We opened an account with FCCU in Newberg Oregon and took out a loan to buy a motorhome in early Jan, 2016. First problem: They told us the title which was sent from the seller's credit union to them, was lost. We were told they applied for a new one. Then we were asked to have the sellers sign a Bill of Sale, which we did and took it to the FCCU Newberg office. Later we were told they lost the Bill of Sale. Then they sent us to the DMV for a VIN inspection, telling us that it was all they needed to get it registered so that we could get the new license plates. We did that and took the paperwork to the FCCU Newberg office. 4.5 months after the loan began, we have paid off the loan, yet we have received nothing. No plates, no title, nothing to prove we own the motorhome. I called the FCCU Newberg office and was told they'd call back. No call. I called again and was told they lost the VIN inspection paperwork and we have to take the motorhome to the DMV again to have it redone. And they said the title (which is still not in our name) and other paper work has been sent to us by priority mail so that we can do the registering and title change ourselves. They said they refunded the funds to do that into our account. Document after document has been lost in this transaction. We are now planning to close our FCCU saving account because we have lost all confidence in them. We have never seen anything like this before.
