First Community Credit Union Branch, Arnold

Don’t go to this branch. Refused us our transaction due to a 100 dollar outstanding balance my girlfriend accumulated when she lost her card. Unacceptable customer service, the woman showed no effort to accommodate us even while our toddler was with us and looked at us like we were stupid

I went to First Community Credit Union approximately two weeks. I had a horrible experience attempting to opening a checking account. I filled my online application to open a checking account and was approved. The web site explained all I needed to do to open the account would be to go to one of the local bank and deposit one dollar. When I attempted to do that at the Arnold Bank in the Super Walmart they explained to me they would not be able to open the account due to an adverse action on my credit report. They explained I would have to contact the bank with the adverse action and get a letter stating the adverse action is being taken care of (an overdraft from six years ago) I was unaware of. When I contacted Belgrade State Bank they explained that they would do nothing to help me. I had filed chapter 13 several weeks before. This action was already being taken care of through the bankruptcy. I contacted my attorney who explained all I need is my bankruptcy paperwork showing it was being taken care of. When I attempted to show this to the supervisor he explained this was not good enough for them to do business with me. I explained Belgrade was not going to help with the situation and that the money owed would not be paid off for another five years. I also explained Belgrade would not take it off the credit report and it would stay there forever. I explained this and I guess the bank manager stood up from her desk over hearing the conversation and became very condicending and raided her voice loud enough that everyone could hear. She explained it would show this until the balance was taken care of and they could not open a simple checking account for me. Since my bankruptcy I am only doing what my credit counciling explained to get my finances in order. I went to Bank of America and had absolutely no problem opening an account. They explained this was not the time people have come to them after being turned away from First Community Credit Union.

Loans suck. Other than that, good bank.

Staff at Walmart are helpful and nice. Wish I could say the same when you call and you get hung up after waiting 20 minutes since you are 15th in line to get help. Hire some people with service skills. Pathetic..

I love this location. Staff is always courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I’m there at least once a week and actually will only use this location because of that. See you guys soon.

Staff at Arnold Wal-Mart is the very best. Always polite, cheerful and so very helpful. Couldn't ask for anything better
