First Commerce Credit Union US, Thomasville

Account was supposed to have been closed out over a year ago. It didn't close and am automatic payment went through. I drove up there after getting a notification of the overdraft (on an account I thought no longer existed) and told them I would pay for the amount taken out but not the overdraft fee because it wasn't my fault they were slow on closing my account down. They took my money (some $20.84 or near that - minor amount) but apparently never got rid of the fee. Now my payment history is shot out and I apparently owe them $199. I have received no notification on this account in over a year. That's insane. I'll be contacting an attorney from the VA and let the government take care of it. That's one thing they (uncle Sam) do right for us disabled vets. I hope FCCU goes belly up. They give credit unions a horrible name.

My mom have been banking with the Thomasville branch for years. They have had some good branch managers and some terrible ones. The branch manager they have there isn’t a good one. She isn’t helpful and act like she only likes to help certain people. I called the capital circle branch and talked with Jovita . She was no help as well. I wouldn’t advise anyone to bank with this credit union.

I have been at First Commerce CU formally First Florida for over 25 years and have been pleased every minute , until I moved to Thomasville 5 yrs. Ago. They moved to a new location and the fun began. First I would like to say the employees are professional ,they greet with a smile and offer help as soon as I arrive however their is little they do if their is a line in FRONT of the single machine. I really think they would like for you to use the drive through . Sorry guys you missed the mark with this one nice try but no cigar.

This business is useless! The ATM rarely works properly! I went in to dispute a charge 3 weeks ago, and nothing has been done! I also contacted the senior director, Heath Dawson, about another issue I had. That was a waste of time! Don't go to this business if you expect great customer service. You won't get it!

I've been with First Commerce since I came back to Georgia, and up until they moved to the new location I really liked the service. Since they moved everything has went to computer. Yes I mean computer as there is only one in the middle of the room which there's usually a long line, so be ready to wait for long periods of time. Before the changes they were a great bank, but now it's not worth it. You're better off going to another bank or putting your money in a jar on a shelf.

Little to No customer service . Don't call because No One will pick up . You won't be greeted they get paid to sit and tell you oh there's a computer over there the lovely lady will assist you on it . ( And the ladies on there do ) but wow would like someone in person or answer the phone so you can answer my question.

There is only one ATM here outside and there are to many customers having to wait in line while the staff is inside doing nothing " the least they can do is allow two customers in the bank at a time so customers can get what they need. This is ridiculous, this is terrible customer service for me and for the other customers as well.

They hold my check deposit for 2 days for some odd reason when I go through the drive through. I have to walk in just to tell them that I need to unlock my check so I can pay my bills

Having one slow drive through in the city is absolutely ridiculous, got stuck waiting over 20mins to make a deposit.
