Highly recommended. After waiting months for another lender to process/complete my application, I switched to FAHM. I was able to lock in at a great rate and the team at FAHM processed and closed my loan in a relatively quick timeframe. Thank you Sam and the rest of the FAHM team! -Sherien

Needed to refinance- & started searching- this company was recommended to me by a Friend (Ruiz Realty) the experience went extremely well - the communication for me is VERY IMPORTANT- & they were quick to respond phone calls or emails- When Daniel could not contact me , he had his assistant Elisa Estrella-Tavarez, she was quick to respond - answered all of my questions with accuracy & without hesitation- always responded with a happy disposition.. Very happy everything went GREAT

Worst mortgage company ever. They made me fly up to Connecticut to get my mom to sign some docs then when they found out I was on the plane they changed their minds and forced me to fly her down for the closing. I didn’t even know if I had the mortgage until the day of the closing. It was constant hoops you had to jump through and it was like they didn’t even want you you to get the mortgage. I ended up having the closing delayed because of their BS and impossible standards. Pick another Company anything but this one.

My Wife and I sold our house to another family who used First Alliance Home Mortgage as their lender. Throughout the entire process FAHM has kept assuring us that we would be able to close as soon as they got "one more" document or piece of information from the borrower, their Accountant, or their Bank. We received a Mortgage Commitment Letter from FAHM on November 16th 2018. It has been 75 Days and we have still not been able to close this transaction. Closing was scheduled three (3) times and every time we got close to a closing date there was another issue. The first closing was scheduled for 11/29/18, Then 12/21, then 1/9/19. The last time closing was scheduled for January 9th. We were told that they finally had clear to close. We moved out of our house, everything we owned went into a moving truck, utilities were cancelled, and then again 24 hours before closing they told us that they still could not close and needed one more document from the borrowers bank. We were supposed to close on our new house and be able to move in within 24 hours after closing on our house. The Purchase of our new home was contingent on the sale of our current home. At first we were assured this would be rectified quickly and advised to keep our belongings in storage rather than moving back into our house. We continued to pay to keep the moving truck and not unload it since we could not close on our new house since we did not have the sale proceeds we had nowhere to go. After 8 days we were finally forced to move back into our current home as we couldn't keep paying to rent the moving truck. We have not fully unpacked as we have been expecting a resolution. We have been camping out in our house with minimal comforts and sleeping on mattresses on the floor. The Mortgage Lender continued to assure us that as soon as they had a Letter from the borrowers bank clearing up a discrepancy on their credit that we would have clear to close. Again and Again we were told "we just need this one thing and then we have clear to close". The document required was finally received from Bank of America and and we were told once received it would be cleared in 24 Hours. Well 24 hours came and went. Then it had to go QC which was another 48 hours and then again they came back with needing more requirements to close. This last time it came to light that FAHM could not even provide the loan and they were getting the loan through a 3rd party Lender Nations Direct Mortgage and that it was their underwriters who had not yet approved the loan. It has been 75 Days and we have still not been able to close this transaction and move on with our lives. This has taken a huge toll financially and emotionally on my family. I have missed days of work for no reason. I have incurred thousands of dollars in costs that I may never be able to recoup. Our family routines have been completely disrupted. The sellers of the home we are buying have also been unfairly impacted waiting for us to close. Every real estate professional on my team has stated that they have never seen anything like this with a mortgage and that the Mortgage process should never take more than 45 Days. I would highly recommend steering clear of this Mortgage company.
