We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at our property. It was a nice change to get away for the Thanksgiving holiday and the views alone made this trip. Here are my 3+ and 3-.... 3+ - The cabin was nicely appointed and well outfitted. Cooking Thanksgiving dinner here was a breeze because we had everything we needed. - The location is fantastic! Close to everything and being lakeside is the way to go @ FLX. - We encountered a problem with the hot water heater and they sent someone immediately to fix it! This was the day before a holiday. Nicely done! 3- - Ok I know in order to be lakeside @ FLX means you will have a descent. We didn't have 4WD and one of our cars got stuck down at the main house. I wish there would have been better driveways or somehow access made easier. Overall great stay!

We had a wonderful time at Tug Boat Inn and Keuka Lake. The property was perfect size and setup for us and our two small dogs. Thanks for the bikes too - that was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again. We didn't want to leave.

I rented Dream Catcher for a wine tour weekend with a group of girlfriends. The property was gorgeous! It was clean, lots of amenities and perfect for us. FLPP was great in setting up the reservation. We are looking forward to doing it again next year!

Wanted to respond to FLPP's response to my review. I have made it very clear to FLPP that their dictation of when we could use free nights is not acceptable. My family has limited vacation time and we plan it specifically around our jobs, school etc. FLPPs assumption that the offer of free nights only within THEIR time frame is not a resolution to this matter and just further exasperates their lack of customer service and making a very poor experience right. Wanted to tell my experience with FLPP. I booked a family vacation home on VRBO for the 4th of July holiday weekend, the property was managed by FLPP and was booked and paid for prior to arrival. We arrived at the house on the check in date, after a 4-hour drive and arriving around 10PM, to find that it was already occupied by someone else (the error being the fault of Finger Lakes Premier Properties). Want to mention the occupants were on their honeymoon (extremely nice people) so awkward does not begin to describe the conversation, and we can only imagine how things would have went if when we arrived, they were already in bed and we entered the property. After a call to FLPP we were told they only had one option for us to stay for the evening and we had to drive another hour, to another lake, to spend the night in a house in a Best Western parking lot next to their Penn Yan office. I had to reroute family that were arriving later than us to this home in the parking lot. The next morning, I had to contact FLPP to determine what the resolution was to our situation, and the nice people at Best Western knocked on our door asking when we would be leaving (after someone tried to enter the home while we were in it). I was told by FLPP that they had no open homes except for one. Now, our party was 5 adults, the home I rented and paid for was a 2400 sq ft 2.5-bathroom home, the home they put us in was a 650 sq ft. 1-bathroom home. The only other presented option was “go home”. The home had 3 bedrooms, one which would maybe qualify as a walk-in closet and had twin bunk beds for one of our adult male guests. In addition, all bedrooms and the bathroom had louvered closet doors on them, and as the bathroom door was in the living room there was zero privacy. I had to cancel a boat reservation and a wine tour. We were unable to conduct our planned family activities as we couldn’t even all fit in the living room at one time which consisted of a 18” TV and 1 small window air conditioner that only cooled the small living room (with temperatures in the high 80s). Based on these events and the overall inconvenience to my family and the home they put us in not being comparable in amenities or cost to the home I contracted and paid for I requested a refund. This request didn’t seem unreasonable and I certainly assumed that meeting (if not exceeding) customer expectations would be their absolute goal considering this entire debacle was due to their error. What I got was no refund and no attempt to fix or make up for everything that went wrong. The only thing they offered was a few free night’s on dates I could not make. They maintain that the home they put me in is the same cost as the original home (for only 3 nights versus 4) and have refused to provide ANY refund whatsoever. This company has demonstrated a total lack of customer support, no interest in customer satisfaction and nothing but an unwillingness to correct in our communications. The experience has been both a disappointment but yet one of total amazement that a business would treat one of their customers in this manner and not ‘make right’ the situation. Will never use again, will never recommend again, and will go out of our way to make sure everyone we know also does not use FLPP.

Due to a scheduling error, the home was occupied by the owner’s guests at the start of your trip, and our team worked diligently to find an alternative home for you and your group. July 4th is a peak occupancy week here in the Finger Lakes and we had very limited options for accommodations. We were able to find an alternative the next day and check you into a lakefront home for the remainder of your stay, however we understand that it was not the home you originally booked and apologize that it did not meet your expectations for your vacation. Our team and the homeowner still extend the offer of 4 complimentary nights in the home you originally booked. We hope we have the opportunity to host you this fall on any available dates you choose and to provide you with a 5-star experience to make right this unfortunate situation.

It was a wonderful property. It is nicely appointed and the facilities we're well done. When we arrived, it seemed like it hadn't been cleaned but after our call, it was quickly cleaned. Outdoor area weren't properly cleaned and we weren't able to enjoy them as much because of that. Overall, service was great and we will certainly return to this property if an opportunity arises.

Such potential, such failure. My husband and I decided to join some friends on a trip to the Finger Lakes this year. I found an amazing property on Elm Road that had a beatufiul Easterly view, enough rooms for everyong and our 13 month old, and finally short drive to all the local activities. When we got to the property we found that it was beautiful however slightly hot. After trying to get the air conditioning remotes working, and failing, we called the properties. They said they knew that the air conditioning was broken. When asked why weren't we told that it was broken they had no answer. After three days, they sent us two mobile air conditioning units. As nice a gesture this was this was too little too late. We had already suffered through all of Memorial weekend baking at above 90 degrees. At this point I feel I have to remind you that it was either myself or my husband with our 13 month old in the house all day. The air conditioning units were woefully underpowered for both the space and the layout. As I mentioned earlier, this is an easterly facing property with the entire east wall consisting of nothing but windows. Either myself or my husband and child baked in this property and found it unusable. After 6 days, my husband and I contacted FLPP who did nothing but offer box fans. We refused these box fans on the simple premise, of which I had to consistently remind Josh from FLPP, that we had a 13 month old and it would be a safety hazard. After 2 days, we've heard no response, no offer of apology, no offer to relocate us, and no offer of any kind of compensation for renting a vacation home to a family with a 1 year old and letting them bake in one of their managed properties. That brings me to the easterly view. The heat alone was insufferable. It was made worse by the fact that the easterly view has NO BLINDS. If you rent the Elm road property be sure to bring either a night mask or your own set of blinds, otherwise you'll be getting up before the roosters on the local farms. Finally, that brings us to FLPP's neighbor policy. THe vast majority of the neighbors seem to be nice, with one exception. The neighbor at the top of the drive has some sort of issue. After three days of staying there, he followed me down the drive and finally confronted me, after mistaking me for someone else, and proceeded to drop just about curse word you could imagine. As far as FLPPs policy regarding respecting the neighbors they should reconsider the language to read respect the neighbors as they would respect you. I'm glad my husband and I visited the fingerlakes. We look forward to a trip back. I can promise you we will not, however, be renting the Elm Rd property and definitely not be renting or recommending FLPP as a rental agency.

The booking and on-line check-in process was very easy. The property was well maintained and very clean. We requested an 11 am checkout and were able to enjoy one more hour of the lake before our departure.
