In fact, Cynzia, one of the tellers, recently saved me from a scam (which shows a high level of attentiveness and personal care). Perhaps it's because we're "regulars," but in over seven years I've had none of the negative experiences to which many attest.

Jessica lives up to her reviews. Drove 25 minutes to open checking account and there was one customer in the bank, she told me that she had a customer coming in 20 minutes and I should make a appointment and come back. I explained the drive took me 25 minutes, didn't matter. Called 1 800#, they were willing to set it up. Only problem I have cash. Shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to open checking account. Bad business!

This is the worst Fifth Third branch I’ve ever dealt with! The manager Jessica Pentland, is very rude! She is a high strung, uneducated hillbilly with no customer service skills whatsoever! She is awful for Fifth Third if they are trying to keep customers! Update: I received the standard ‘sorry about your bad experience, call our customer service department .... blah blah blah!’! I had already called the customer service department before I wrote my first review, but no one ever called me back!!! I cancelled my credit card with Fifth Third due to this piss poor customer service and this one particular branch manager, Jessica Pentland in Port Charlotte Florida on Kings Highway.

Most people find it easy to respond to service that doesn’t please them ........I’m so surprised to read some of the comments as I find them so wrong !!! The service at the kings highway fifth third bank is extraordinary .....during these difficult COVID times it’s so hard to take care of people ....drive thru customers take a lot of time when they normally would go inside ......the drive thru employees are just wonderful ....cordial happy and always thorough..........Jessica Pentland in particular has been there for us in so many ways On line - in person - window .......personal account and business account .......everyone count to ten ....take a breath ......relax .......I don’t know what I would do without these employees you have at the kings highway branch !!!!!

I walked into this bank for the first time to make a deposit. I stood there with my daughter patiently waiting. And older gentleman was filling out something at the little area provided. Three tellers were at there spots. All three looked at me and saw me standing there and one said be right with you. A minute after that the old man came up behind me and the teller that told me she would be right with me now called who was next I don't know. Um lady you just told me you would be right with me. The old man jumped right up there. So I was cool. I had my daughter . So I wait a few mins and the next teller calls me over. I have made deposits several times at a different location. They never asked for my license or social security number. This teller was very rude the way she spoke down to me. She told me she had to have my social. I told her no I will just go back to the other location. She said that worries me that they haven't taken you info down. Well they don't and still haven't asked me for all of that. I will never step foot into that bank again. Very terrible experience.

I agree this is the worst customer service I have had ever experienced. I used the electronic bill pay and the check was drafted from my account and put in with another check. My check was delivered and the person who received it did a Google search and returned the check to me(there are still good people left in this world)! I called this branch to explain when they drafted the check it was sent with another check. Of course the vendor I was to pay charges 25.00 per day in late charges. When I called the bank to report this situation. I got lots and lots of apologies and the promise the bank manager would contact me. It has been a week and so far ZERO customer service. Run away folks!

The manager at this bank, JESSICA R. PENTLAND, was very rude and spoke to me as if I was a child who didn’t understand that there was reason she couldn’t cash my check (written from a very reputable business) because I didn’t have the exact amount to cover the check in my current account! Never mind the fact that I had just deposited another check into my account that was over the amount of the check I was trying to cash and the fact that I already had nearly the same amount in my checking account to cover it anyway!!! Also never mind the fact that I’ve been a Fifth Third customer with both checking and savings accounts, as well as a credit card for over 25 years!!! I’ve never had an overdraft or ANY problems (on my end, that is) the entire time I’ve banked with Fifth Third! I have a Fifth Third credit card with a credit limit of at least twice the amount of credit available to cover the check I was trying to cash! Also, this same manager, JESSICA R. PENTLAND, told my fiancé at a previous visit to this bank-that she couldn’t cash his Fifth Third rewards check FROM HIS FIFTH THIRD CREDIT CARD because he didn’t have an account there, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS WRITTEN ON A FIFTH THIRD CHECK FROM THE FIFTH THIRD CORPORATE OFFICE!!! He had to call the corporate office so they could educate this moron on who she actually worked for! It’s people like this that make life more difficult for everyone else! I’ll be looking for a new back today! And, obviously, my fiancé closed out his credit card as well! Their commercial of FIFTH THIRD BETTER is false advertising, in my opinion!
