Fifth Third Bank & ATM Fairview Rd, Charlotte

Horrible service at this branch. Too Few employees who are knowledgeable in proper 5/3 Bank protocol. Seems to be a Rapid turnover of managers. Simple procedure turned from a 30 min process into a 5 month ordeal. Oh, and did I mention they “misplaced” documents including a $20,000. Check and numerous locations with improper functioning atm’s. At first understanding and patient has now turned into Frustrated and angry.

Bank loses checks (this branch specifically), horrible customer service, staff discusses confidential client info with other clients. Highly recommend OZK instead.

I am a member of this bank, I came in last week to get a cashier's check. I was open carrying (which is completely legal in NC in a bank. That is not posted) and in the middle of my transaction a teller started screaming at me from across the bank in front of other customers saying "you cannot have a gun in a bank! You are commiting a felony!" I calmly tried to explain the laws to him and he continued to scream at me and tell me I was commiting a federal offense and I have to leave. I politely asked if I could finish my transaction and he said no. I asked if I could put the firearm in the car and come back in and he rudely agreed. I go to the car and store the firearm, on my way back in I was met at the door by my girlfriend who was told she had to leave and that I was banned for life from the bank. I then tried to go through the drive up window and they refused to serve me. I went to another 53 location and spoke with a manager about the incident and he was very nice and apologized to me and gave me the number of a supervisor to call to let them know what had happened. I then went home and called this 53 location and spoke with their manager Rob. He also apologized and said that I am not banned, the teller had no right to do or say what he did, and that I am welcomed back and he will personally handle my transactions from now on. I will be filing a complaint on that teller though for how he treated me and my girlfriend.

Took them a check to cash, the amount was very slightly smudged but the dollar amount was not so they called to confirm with no answer and they said to come back in the afternoon, well i decided to go to another 5/3rd where they cashed it out immediately and with a great big smile. Now what if I needed the money for mom's medicine and it was urgent?

I have always experienced excellent customer service at this branch. I sometimes have to wait a bit because I prefer to deal with a specific personal banker, who goes way above and beyond to be helpful.

Tried to open account on Saturday and was turned away. A joke just don't bother. Did not even sit down to go over nothing. Just said can't open account today. If you do not want to work on Saturday don't come to work

Nice location. The place always feels empty with no wait at all. Convenient parking, and has a drive-through. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

No lines, nice people, very pleasant place to bank at!!
