    To say that I am disappointed in this complex would be an understatement. I have rented the majority of my life and never experienced the unprofessionalism from a lessor. In addition, I have never been charged and always received my deposit back. I lived there for 18 months. The hall smelled like marijuana mixed with the garbage room majority of my stay. The locked gate at our entrance was broken for at least a year. These examples are just a few of many. When I moved out, all service and maintenance requests during the stay were billed to me. For instance, the washer and dryer doors were “broken.” I requested 7 different service tickets to have them fixed within the year and a half. The maintenance men could not get the doors to work properly. Instead of sending continued requests, I managed with the broken doors only to be charged for them in the end. Also, the garbage disposal malfunctioned and flooded the shelf under the sink. I was also charged for the shelf. I never received any type of documentation showing the charges for the “broken doors” or the “shelf” before or after I requested it. The only reason I knew they charged me was because I had a balance on the online apartment portal. Normally, I do not write reviews but thought future tenants should know that these reviews aren’t just dramatic past lessees. Unfortunately, this is a complex I would not recommend.

    I've been here for a year now and extending my stay. Never had any issues with management or maintenance. First off you are advised of the internet company that's used before hand, secondly you are advised when maintenance is needing to enter each apartment in order to check things. You are given a notice every time. If that's something your not comfortable with then maybe go buy a house. I've reported an issue with my kitchen sink and was contacted immediately and set up a time to check it out. It was fixed in no time and no further issues. Everything is cleaned and maintained here but unfortunately not everything is going to be spot on because face it you are living with others in a building which might not be up to your standards. Again if that's an issue go buy a house. Never had any issues with my neighbors or the employees. Overall I really enjoy living here.

    DO NOT RENT HERE! They force you to use telecom internet service which is the most expensive and worst service I have ever used. Pray you don't lose power because they will come into your apartment and throw out your food in the refrigerator and your ice/food from the freezer because they care more about their appliances than you! Worst apartments ever!

    Management was so rude and unprofessional. Internet was absolutely horrible and out multiple times every week and they won’t give you the option to use another provider. Maintenance would walk in unannounced without even knocking at the door or without giving you warning that they were about to come in. I don’t recommend renting here.

    Management is absolutely trash. 1 day after hurricane ida passed they were trying to kick me out of the apartments after my lease had expired on the 31st, they didn’t back down until after I mentioned hiring a lawyer in order for me to stay a couple more days. (Keep in mind there was no power no moving companies open and at this point roads were not even fully opened yet) Then when I finally do move out, they try to charge me $813 in “damages”. Even though I paid a 750 dollar deposit, they still sent me a bill for $813 and when I called about it they admitted to having my deposit and that they didn’t deduct that or reflect that on the bill. Part of the $813 bill included a late fee for not paying my bill online when access to internet was not available. They never sent me a bill or uploaded a bill until 9/15/2021. Property is horribly maintained I had problems for an entire year with the downspout next to my patio pushing dirt, sand, and debris onto my patio which was addressed once only by throwing down some pine straw. Immediately washed away and we were back to square one. Trash room was absolutely disgusting 7 days a week, it constantly stunk and was filled nasty water. I had a 2 bedroom apartment and you were lucky to get 15 minutes of hot water during a shower. There is absolutely no pest control, roaches and spiders were everywhere. Maintenance would enter your apartment unannounced even though I always put a note of do not enter unannounced because of my dog. Many more small things that I could list but I will stop here. I highly advise finding a different complex the management is rude and does not care and maintenance is the same way. The prices here are absolutely insane as well.

    When considering my move to Covington,LA, I looked at a number of apartment complexes in the area but found myself drawn to Elan at Terra Bella. I am so pleased that I settled on Elan. Settled now into a beautiful two bedroom it is wonderful. A terrific staff that will stop at nothing to make you feel at home and add to that an area where ELAN is located and I could not be more pleased with my choice.

    the internet is horrible and goes out up to 5x daily, it is slower than molasses. im trying to stream euphoria and it wont even load…

Their techs have supplied customers with USB WIFI dongles and will adjust the WIFI signal if needed.     Worst internet access ever. If you need reliable internet, do not rent at Elan. You have no choice in provider. There is no other option.

    This is an updated review.. I incorrectly termed it a move in fee.. It was actually a WALK IN fee of 100.00.. It’s just a matter of semantics.. I’m sure the responding owner knew what I was referring to.. The apartment wasn’t ready on the move in date.. To sum it up, the current manager has an unfortunate lack of professional courtesy with a tendency to miscalculate and overcharge tenants.. It happened a total of four times while we were there.. Each time her supervisor had to correct her mistakes.. The main mistake was on the FAS.. Maintenance is substandard and unknowledgeable.. It’s just unfortunate the current manager is still employed there.. No I will not be giving you a call and I would not recommend this overrated apartment complex to a friend.. Thank you!!
