Had a knocking noise and brought it here after I heard they do good work. Next day I got a call saying it was the struts and needed replacing and that they could do it that day for 1200. Dang. Oh well I thought. Let’s just get it done. Picked the car up and everyone was nice. Paid and drove off. Less than 5 min the knocking was back. I turned around and took it back. Turns out it wasn’t my struts after all. They probably had a little life in them but would need to be changed. They sent someone out to ride with me to hear what I was talking about. They heard it and said they could put some electronic ears on it to pin point it. Ok I thought. Sucks about buying struts that I didn’t need right then but I’m sure it wasn’t too far off. Let’s get get this fixed. Got a call a little later and they said that they figured it out and that I had a flat spot on my wheel barring that was doing it. For 500 they could fix it. Also I needed a brake job that they do for over 200. Really for a brake job?! I said screw it and took it home. Did my own brake job and while I was under there saw a loose plastic piece of the under carriage. Tightened it back up and guess what. No more knocking. They got 1200 from me. Wanted 500 more and STILL WOULDNT HAVE FIXED THE ISSUE.

Manager completely rude took two days to get a quote and then wanted $1000 to replace a water pump?! I bought one for $45 and had it on in less than an hour with no mechanical experience. Manager also wanted money for the quote?!!!! Told him no way and left. I was previously warned about this place and will never go back.

They did a great job and were quick to respond with the service I needed. When there was an increase in price due to having to use manufacturer parts they called me before doing anything. They even had to drive over accross town to pick them up. Great job Bob.

Never had any trouble with these guys and have been bringing my car here for six years. This is a place where you can trust them to tell you that you either don't need something done or how it can be done cheaper. A pro choice!

I was very pleased with East Cooper Auto Pros' customer service and auto service. My Toyota Land Cruiser needed an alternator replaced in summer 2014. NAPA provided the rebuilt replacement. However, it was a defective alternator, and I had to bring my car back in to ECAP. They contacted NAPA who replaced the alternator at no charge and even reimbursed me for the rental car I had used during the initial service. I would definitely do repeat business with East Cooper Auto Pros!!!
