Read the fine print. $38 "Reorg" fee for splits, mergers, and ticker changes. They will not inform you of when or if this will be happening. Customer service is a nightmare. 2+ hour phone wait times. I have not had an issue resolved over the phone. After waiting 90min, you'll be asked if you have a "few minutes" to transfer to another person to better assist you. "Few minutes" = another 90 minutes. I highly recommend another service that has the customer's best interest in mind & good, reliable customer service. I highly recommend robinhood They don't have every single stock out there (mostly pennies and alternate market stocks), but 98% of stocks out there are available. Update: 1 week later - Haven't been able to connect to a live chat, 5 phone calls more with no success (3 of which dropped due to "technical difficulties"), 3 secure messages sent with generic automated responses that were of no value to my question..

I have not ever been there. But most of 1 star 🌟 complain about 3 days to access funds. It is a brokerage account. I never cared about trade fees. People sign contracts and don't even look 🙄 😒

I opened a savings account because it had a 0.80 interest rate as soon as January came it went to 0.50 which doesn't really bother me but I had a chance to get a really nice car that was underpriced come to find out I have to wait a minimum of 3 days to access my money. Unless I open an account with them then it's instant of course I would have to wait 2 weeks to get a debit card to access my money. I am thoroughly irritated that I missed out on a great business opportunity because it takes 3 days to transfer your money. Even if you use zelle it takes 3 days. My three other bank accounts are all instant transfer as soon as you hit the button the money shows up on the other side.

While no fee trading is nice if you have any questions or need to speak with a representative they are horrible. I spent 54 minutes on hold waiting to speak with a customer service representative only to be told that I needed a broker which would be another hour wait. If you want good service go somewhere else.

Open the account. I wrote down my user and password. I tried to log in said it could not find the account. I request to get the username emailed to me. Nothing has been sent checked my spam nothing there called Customer Serivce twice. They take way to long to answer the call. Really bad way to start off with a new client.

Waited about two and half hours on the phone because they randomly suspended my account, lost about $1,100 dollars from a stock that I never meant to bought, and the only thing the person on phone says is that "there's nothing we can do"? Yeah, use Robinhood instead.

Pulled all of my money out-slow and antiquated systems and TERRIBLE service. Left eTrade over 6 weeks ago and still waiting for final statements.

Was just on hold for over an hour and a half with still no answer. The app is not letting me withdraw my funds. The app is also limiting the amount of stock that I can buy and not giving me free reign over my own money...

The people here have always been so helpful to me and everyone else I know who's used their services. I couldn't be more pleased with my experiences with E*Trade.

I highly recommend them for their focus on quality, service, and the best technology out of all the banks I've used.
