Dollar Bank W River Rd, Elyria

Deposited my paycheck at dollar bank then went grocery shopping for my family. Used my debit card without an issue. About a week later get a letter stating I have an overdraft fee of 36 dollars. Apparently pay check monies are held for a day or so before you can use them. I did not know and if the monies are held then why was my debit card approved??? It was a payroll check not a personal check. Called the bank asked fee to be waived since I am the only one employed during this pandemic and the lady states she would call me back, she did not.

A "BIG " shout out to Stephanie at the Elyria Branch. I was in a panic due to the possibility of leaving my Debit Card in the ATM. Even though they were extremely busy at closing time she was nice enough to check for me and was able to retrieve my card and put my mind to ease😊...Thanks Again Stephanie for your great Customer Service it was greatly appreciated!

I chose to direct deposit a property sale, into my account; the bank charged an $18 fee. Let that sink in....

I have banked with them for over 30 years. I have never had one problem with them
