Wish I could get less than a one-star. Been with these guys for many years had many loans and lots of money stored in my bank accounts here. Use their credit card always have a balance. These people constantly getting money from me. And the absolute worst customer service Time and Time and Time again. They act like trying to get a manager on the line is like trying to get the president on the line. Are they too good to talk to their customers? Must be. Get sick of having to go over the same information only to ask for a manager six times and not get one. then they wonder why you get upset. then want to call you out for being angry. That's okay my money is good everywhere so I'll find somewhere else to bank as soon as the current problem is resolved. Maybe I can find a bank where I don't get put on hold for 22 minutes. call back and have the same arrogant person become aggressive with me because I told her I didn't want to speak with her I wanted a manager. Conveniently the manager was unavailable. I'm done

Directions is a great company… except for this location! Customer service is horrible, they always act like they’re in a rush, and could care less about why you’re there. Directions is great, but just avoid this location if possible.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have received anywhere. I started trying to close out my father’s accounts in early March and promptly provided all the requested information and it is now the end of May with no results. I called to speak with a customer service supervisor and was either hung up on or disconnected. I was definitely complaining but not being rude or vulgar. My emails go I acknowledged and I get the run around every time I call. I would never bank with this organization.

Staff used to be friendly polite and helpful. Had to call a few times regarding someone getting a hold of my account. Needed to cancel my debit card and get a new one. I called customer service and cancelled it the person I spoke to had a flat tone. I felt like I was bothering her. I tried to go through drive-thru to get a new card made but the line was crazy long. Called back same no help at all flat tone didn't have the old card with me since I cancelled the card. Told her several times I didn't have my account number with me or the card I know they can look up my account by name and address. She didn't try to help until I was frustrated by that time I didn't want her help. I will be changing banks as soon as I can. I also work in customer service I'm on the phone 10 to 12 hours a day or more I have never treated a customer rudely rather they are rude or not. That's my job to help customers as best as I can with a personality....

**1/21/20 DOWNGRADED TO 1 STAR*** The owner took NO time to review or address my complaint. Poor service!! I have been a member for years! I will be taking my business elsewhere! I had to update my account with a name change (marriage). Kai was very helpful and quick to make the change, which I appreciate very much. Unfortunately, she also stated my replacement debit card would have a different card number. I am very displeased with this process, because it automatically deactivated the debit card I had on hand. And I have not received my new card yet. What if I had bills on automatic payments? This would have caused the payments to be returned as No Good Checks, incurring fees. New card numbers should only be provided for accounts that are reported as lost, stolen, or fraudulent, not for a simple name change. I am very disappointed and strongly recommend Directions Credit Union update their process.

Changed banks over a year ago to directions. When I moved I specifically asked if the online check deposit was an option and easy. I was assured it was. In the past year I have had 20 out of probably 30 checks put hold, even though I followed the put for online deposit only on them. Everytime a check was put on hold I was charge $28! I'm a single mom with two kids, not only do I relay on online banking but $28 for every check is a lot of money to me. On top of that, the 10 checks that went through took 3 days to hit my account. I am glad I kept my 5/3 rd account open, I have never had a depositing problem there, thus, I will be happily returning (they require a signature only and the check hits the very next day, with $100 available right away)!

This was a very friendly credit union when it was Education Plus. The merger was awful, auto pay bills were changed (without our approval)to withdraw from savings instead of checking causing over draft fees. My Education Credit Union visa was cancelled without notice and no new card was issued from Directions, causing a decline when I went to use it. When I called they said I was late on a payment at the beging of the merger so my privileges were suspended until I show a better payment history. 15 years of on time payments and paid in full loans and this is how we’re treated? We have moved our accounts to another credit union. I would recommend to look elsewhere.

If I could give no stars I would! Every time I go here it is a problem! I tried to get a working debit card for my account 3x now! Still do not have one! Also tried to go through the process of getting a loan and was completely misled, and wasted hours of my time only to be denied. VERY DISSATISFIED with this so called bank. I’ve been treated better my companies that I have no history with, and I’ve been with this company for years with my husband.

We have been members for over 20 years, and I have always recommended them to everyone I know. Now I'm warning everyone to stay away, and we will be moving our accounts. The ATM network went down and they did a terrible job of notifying members (three days after it started), and when all was said and done they took large withdrawals two weeks later from accounts without notifying anyone first or itemizing the transactions. Their response: "We know it's frustrating." I've always overlooked their small-time quirks (unprofessional tellers, so-so online tools, etc.) because they took great care of members, but that has changed.

Do not bank here. First off, they have the worst hours possible. And if they are closed and you need to cash a check or make a deposit, you're screwed. Because the atm system doesn't release any money to you. I have had a hold on a check I deposited for 3 days now. The customer service is terrible. They have showed me zero concern when I have called asking questions or expressing frustrations. I will be pulling my money out by the end of the week. I'm tired of places like directions taking advantage of hard working people because they can.
