This “credit union” exists only to collect and assess fees. If an item is brought to the account, but not paid, you are charged a fee. If you have overdraft “protection,” the item is not paid, but you are charged a fee. If a charge WOULD have hit your account, but you canceled it before it did, you are charged a fee (I’m not exaggerating.) I called this morning to dispute charges on my account and “Kristen” laughed and said, “good luck finding someplace that doesn’t charge for that.” I said, “my bank doesn’t.” She laughed again and said, “they must be the only ones then!” Imagine that: a credit union that ISN’T in existence for the sole purpose of charging fees! What a laughable concept! Except...MY credit union—Citadel Credit Union—is exactly that, and infinitely better than these crooks. Bank of America got sued for fraudulent overdraft charges to their customers. I’m thinking Diamond won’t be too far behind. Keep your money far away from these crooks!

Front desk ladies are so rude. I’m never coming to this branch again. I’ll go to Gilbertsville one instead.

I myself like banking here. Great rates and very easy to speak to someone about questions or concerns. Free coin counting and great account tiers for all clientele. I made the switch from Wells Fargo and could not be happier.

Was told a certain amount would be held from an Insurance company check I deposited. After leaving the bank, I realized that they are holding wayyyyyyy more than then the teller stated would be withheld. Ironically, she did not give me a receipt for the balance on my account, only the receipt that says how much was deposited. This is the second time I've had issues with this situation. The first time, NO HOLDS were placed on my account because they messed something else up. They put funds into some "other" category so that my card was getting declined. Ridiculous. I had intended to deposit a much larger amount of money in the near future however I agree with prior reviews, time to switch banks!!!!!

Diamond is ok. I like the fact it's local and the tellers are always helpful and courteous but the office people are horrible. In fact I felt like when my banking error occurred (due to my own fault) it was handled a little rude. A lady whom I wish I could remember her name called me and left a message stating the I needed to call her today. Her tone was as if I was a child and she was a parent. Further more, while speaking with her I felt as if she talked down to me. When I talked to her boss he did nothing to help and informed me that his boss was in the office next to him and I could speak to him if I wanted. Ok no problem navy federal credit union as well as Philadelphia police and fire Crédit union always appreciated my business. I didn't close my diamond account yet simply because I haven't had time. But I will really soon

TERRIBLE credit union to work with for a car loan. My car died back in October, I had to wait until November to get the money together to pay off my loan. I sent in a check for $3700 and called every day the following week to check if it had been received. On 11/30/18 the person on the phone confirmed that they had received my check, and that they spoke with the processing department who had said I would receive my title in two weeks. 12/14 marked two weeks and no title was in sight. I called back, and the person on the phone, once again spoke to the processing department (funny how they don't just let you talk to processing), and they said they were waiting for my check to clear, "it cleared that morning" and they were putting in the request for my title and I would "have it in two weeks." The check cleared my account on 12/3 so interesting how they apparently didn't have it cleared til 12/14? I asked that my title be expedited because I was given false information on 11/30. And they told me that was not an option. I use to work for a Tag & Title company, banks are most certainly allowed to expedite title requests, they just didn't want to pay the fee. Today 12/28 marks two weeks, do you think I have my title to the vehicle I PAID OFF? Nope. They sent the request to penndot on 1224! I asked why, it was supposed to be sent on 12/14. I was told "there was a communication error" so then I demanded to speak to processing directly. Here's where it really gets interesting, the "communication error" between Penndot and Diamond credit union, was that they "skipped a page" of titles that needed to be requested. How is that possible when it was apparently requested when I called back on 12/14? Then she tells me, there are no notes that you called in regards to your title before today. I mentioned how on 12/14 the person on the phone saw my notes from 11/30, so how is it now missing from my file. She then said "OH I see it now, I just missed it. Yes you did call on the 30th and the 14th." By then end of our conversation she was raising her voice at me because I was calling BS on all of her lies. Truly awful customer service, and rude people that work here. It's unfortunate they treat their customers this way, especially when they just handed you a decent junk of cash and paid off their loan earlier then it was supposed to be. I'm only at 3 1/2 years of my 5 year loan. And I have a personal loan with them. After the personal loan is paid off, I will never do business here again.

Best decision I've ever made. I was at Sovereign/Santander for 10 years and it was a nightmare in fees and very impersonal. After just less than a year with DCU my credit improved in 100 points, I got an excellent rate on a car loan, my statements are so clear, I got a very low rate credit card and paid of high interest card balances. I can transfer money from my account to my car loan and credit card w/o even getting up from bed. Love DCU.

I have been very happy with this credit union that I have been with a few years now. They have been helpful and pleasant to deal with. I am glad I have switched from banks to credit unions. It seems like I am not being jerked around with so much.
