Desert Financial Credit Union N Beeline Hwy, Payson

Moved away from regular banks several years ago. I am a retired CPA and I do understand the regulations that have been dismantled for banking in this country. Those regulations were in place because of the crash of 1929 and it is my opinion the protections should not have been removed. S&Ls like Desert do provide a little protection for their members, conventional banks do not. Banks are big business and 1929 can now happen again more easily and the banks will take your money, there is no more federal insurance to protect your accounts! If I have understood their recent moves and I believe I have, this is now buyer beware for banks!

I have banked with Desert Financial for over 20 years, beginning in the valley and since we moved to Pine 16 years ago. They have always been good, but this particular branch is excellent. Every single teller there knows me by name. I have my personal and business accounts there and I have always experienced wonderful customer service and a willingness to go above and beyond anytime I've needed something. I've dealt with Jason and Charles since the beginning, Candice, Jamie and ALL the tellers are friendly, helpful and greet us by name. Couldn't ask for better service!

Desert Financial WILL NOT allow me to add MY card to Google Play for my apps, and declines if I try to buy Google Play credit. So there's a whole legitimate company my money is useless for because DF is too stupid to realize that it is actually me authorizing my own card. I can't find any other way to make in-game purchases, and I'm pretty ticked.

It is a pleasure to do financial tasks at a company that makes you feel valued and removes all the old hassles. You will not go back to your bank!

Love this Credit Union! Every time we go in, they are happy, helpful and paperless! No deposit slips! They do it all for you!!! We had to change banks when we moved here from the Valley and we opted for a Credit Union of a bank. So glad we did! Segan did a great job opening our accounts and we even got our debit cards the same day!

I am not even a customer of theirs, but needed something notarized. Ryan was super helpful & friendly & took care of me very quickly. I wish I lived near a Desert Financial CU. I'd switch to them!
