The customer service for this organization is absolutely horrific. I purchased my vehicle through Kuni Lexus in 2017 and they use Denver Community Credit Union for financing. At Kuni, I provided a copy of my insurance at the point of sale. Because Denver Community Credit Union was not listed as a lien holder on my policy, once the file was processed through them they forced alternative insurance on my car loan. Shortly after, I paid the my loan in full. There was still a remaining balance of $276 for the alternative insurance through SWBC. Denver Community would not release my title until I listed them as a lien holder to remove the insurance charges. Considering that I paid my loan in full, this makes no sense? Anyway, I advised my insurance company to place Denver Community as a lien holder; and they did and faxed a copy to all parties. Denver Community still has not released my title and they are indicating that I owe them $71.98. I have no idea what this amount is for? SWBC has indicated that they've reversed all charges and they have no idea what the $71.98 is for. When I called Ben in collections to discuss, he told me he does not have time "to deal with me" when I offered the option to conference with the insurance company (SWBC) to get this sorted out. When I challenged his lack of customer service he said "what do you want me to do, write you an essay?" I have never been treated this way in my life. I've called the credit union manager, I've called the finance manager at Kuni and I'm writing reviews. I do not recommend this organization for car loans or any other transaction, as they treat their customers very poorly.
I have forwarded your concerns to our vice president that oversees this area. Thank you.

This bank is beyond horrible. Was with them 3+ years and they done nothing for me. If you are rich and have great credit they work with you. They refuse to help you with anything. They love charging you fees though!! Total banker scum personality we are better than you attitude. Horrible bank. I highly recommend somewhere else.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. We take all complaints seriously. We reviewed your account in detail, and it appears that all procedures were followed correctly.

I have always banked at credit unions and helped cosign a loan for my daughter through the Denver Credit Union. Horrible experience from day one. Don't be fooled by the low interest rates. You get what you pay for. No help and no knowledge.
Hi Chantell, thank you for taking the time to write this review. We have forwarded your concerns to management.

My telephone transaction with Brenda Denning was just what I needed to start my day. She was extremely helpful in my pursuit of a CD for my savings. Brenda answered all of my questions cheerfully and to my satisfaction. Thank you Brenda.

We paid off our loan on September 18, 2017. After waiting for a week for everything to clear we called and did paperwork to close our savings account. A few days later we received a check that does not have the necessary meeker numbers printed on the bottom. Call your back and was told to send that check back with a note and a new check would be sent immediately. We call this week as we had not received anything. Nick was very sorry for the inconvenience and would take care of it. Received the first check not corrected, our note and a letter saying that there is nothing you can do today October 25th. We have a none fund able check and you have our money and it's been 6 weeks.
I am sending this to our VP for review. I am sorry for your inconvenience.

Denver Community Credit Union is the BEST around. Holly, the manager at the branch at 1095 Federal Blvd Denver, CO 80204 goes above and beyond to assist members with there financial needs. I would highly recommend this credit union to anyone searching for a friendly and personal service credit union.
Thank you so much! I am glad to hear about this type of service!

The staff are very friendly and get things done quickly and efficiently. Only down side is they don't accept rolled coins? They made me unroll the coins I had previously rolled and put them in the coin star machine which charges a fee. Although they waived the fee the first time i brought my coins in every time after that I've had to waste my money on a fee that shouldn't exist if I choose to roll them myself
Thank you for your review. I will definitely forward your concern about the rolled coins.

Denver Community is a complete DISAPPOINTMENT! Since the new management took over the core value of members first has gone out the window. They are more concerned with being fee based then they are of being customer driven. Its really a shame that numerous members that I know are wanting to walk away from the Credit Union after being there for more than 25 years. Myself, I've been with the credit union for less than 5 years; but I have seen the DRASTIC inconveniences from the changes. If the management keep this up, I'm afraid the Credit Union will end up having they're own financial issues...
