We were fully prepared and it was our 2nd meeting to close an auto loan. The process took entirely too long for a second meeting. However, Tyler Foster was the representative we worked with and he did a fabulous job! We were very pleased working with him in person and over the phone. The delay was due to the fact that there was a shortage of remote loan officers and a lot of requests in cue. It seems this could have happened at any branch. I wished the branch manager would have stepped in to check on us but he did call the next day to apologize which was appreciated. Our typical Delta branch is downtown near our house and we have always had positive experiences.

My wife and I opened a joint checking account with Delta so that we could take advantage of their low rates on other types of loans. Our experience has been excellent. The staff inside the branch are always positive and professional. They are always able to take care of us quickly as well. There are a ton of perks including free coin counting as well. The drive through services run smoothly, and there is a drive through ATM as well.

I open a CD online. It requests me to visit a branch for verification. It took them several days to get that going. I went to the branch. It was start of the COVID. They told me I have to make an appointment to enter even though I was there. So, another trip wasted. Set up the appointment. Went in. The clerk is very nice and friendly. However, I received some incorrect information. I asked if that was correct. She went away to verify, came back to tell me, yes, that was correct. After the appointment, my account was finally set up. I logged into my account, set up fund transfer for my accounts. A savings account was created for me and a five-dollar was drafted from my funding account. For several weeks, I saw a balance of zero even though there was five dollars in it. I emailed them for the question. It took them two emails to tell me that five dollars is like a hold / deposit in the account. The representative in the bank could provide me this information to avoid such miscommunication / headache. Then I verified that my information is correct that I can limit data sharing unlike the clerk who verified with her peers / superior gave me incorrect information. I went to the ATM to make a deposit. Everything went well. But the machine rejected my card. I thought something wrong with my card. I called them the next day. The representative told me there is a 30-day hold period to use the ATM card. The clerk could have told me this important piece of information when I was given the ATM card at the branch. All I'm saying is that a better training is needed to provide customer important information on the spot. It saves time for you because your customer doesn't have to bother you without the correct information. All in all, I'm OK with the small incidents. The other aspects seems to be working fine so far.

I WOULD NOT recommend using Delta Community Credit Union. My husband was trying to buy a truck and spent 1+ hours here yesterday. He thought they had worked everything out - they had already done a hard credit pull and signed all of the paperwork. My husband had already worked out with the seller to buy the truck this weekend. Delta then called today (less than 24 hours after approving the loan) to say the truck is no longer approved due to high mileage. They never stated that there was a max on miles for a used vehicle. My husband found a 2nd truck within the mileage limit, but they stated that they would not give him another opportunity. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Do yourself a favor and use one of their competitors. I know we will be!

I had a terrible experience at Delta Community Credit Union. I opened up an account with them yesterday 3/12 got qualified for the loan got a great rate committed to buying a truck did all the paper work that was needed and got a call this morning stating the mileage that was pulled on the Vin number of the truck was more than Delta Community Credit Union allowed. When I sat in the Alpharetta branch yesterday for over an hour the stipulations of mileage and year of the vehicle I was inquiring about was never brought up until after the hard pull on credit was ran. The associate pulled a hard pull on both mine and my wifes credit, got approval accepted the rate and got a phone call this morning saying we cant go through with the purchase due to the mileage on the vehicle. I understood and accepted the fine print that was not upfront told to me and found another truck. I called Delta Community back to make sure the new truck I was inquiring about would qualify before I go through the nightmare again and they said it was a case by case basis and if they gave me one opportunity I was not going to get another one when it wasn’t even my fault. I will be cancelling my membership and I will never ever recommend Delta Community Credit Union.

The employees at this branch are super professional. If you need to open and account or get a loan please visit my girl Vera Johnson she is AWESOME!!! I was running in I was having a bad day like everything was 100 miles per hour and Ms.Vera took very good care of me. She has a special touch that just makes you feel like everything is alright :)

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE I opened my account and it was so simple and so fast. The woman helping me was so nice. I later went to make a deposit through the drive-thru and after driving away without my debit card the young boy from the window chased me down at the light to give it back to me! I am happy to have brought my business here and I look forward to all future interactions!!

I went to this branch after dealing with incompetent people over the phone using Delta’s customer service phone number for fraudulent charges. I met with Vera at this location and she could not have been nicer or more helpful. She was quick to file a report and solve the problem. THANK YOU, Vera! I truly appreciate all you did. If only the people who answer the phones could be more like you!

I opened a Saving account at this bank about 4 months ago and was trying to make the deposit online, and a note saying online deposit is not available for the account. I called the customer service and asked them to resolve this, and they said they can't and I need to wait until March 15th 2021 to be able to use the bank app to make deposits. I'm closing this account. This bank is not reliable..
