When starting off with his company for a refinance my agent was Ryan McBain and he himself is a amazing person. Although he works for the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. I have bought and sold a previous home so I’m familiar with mortgage companies. In the very beginning they sent a closing disclosure to us thru docu sign that said we would be getting about $500 back at closing, ok great! But money for us was never the issue we only were looking for a lower interest rate/mortgage payment. But when the notary shows up for us to sign she said we would be getting a little over $2100 back which we signed with all the rest of the closing docs. Then we received a email from a different person days later saying unfortunately they forgot to add the interest in so we would get $800 back instead (which we never signed) two days later I received a closing disclosure from another person stating we would get $2000. Which I promptly called Ryan to find out why? After he did his research I was told that it was the title companies mistake and we would be getting the $2000. When I called the title company they said it was CrossCountry that made the mistake (passing the blame back and forth.) Then another couple days go by we received a check for $800 when I called to question it (also calling my realtor for help) I was told that another closing disclosure was sent out by mail from another person, for $2200 now. but he would check into it and find out how much more would be mailed out. Got a call back today saying “I’m sorry $800 is all you get.” Then Sunny calls me to explain why but he seemed to be very condescending the whole time I was talking to him! Even after Ryan tried to tell me sorry for the mix up. Sunny down talked his own employee and told him they have nothing to be sorry for! Sunny also started to down talk my real estate agent and told me she should stick to the real estate side because she obviously doesn’t know the back side (which I found VERY unprofessional) and basically stated it wouldn’t make no difference if he lost my real estate agents business! but since my agent has been in the industry for over 20 year she obviously knows something. I told him it would have just been nice to be told where the mistake happened in the first place and he passed the blame onto my old lender even though our payoff amount was faxed to them prior to us signing the closing docs. Sunny told me “he was not made aware of any of the mix up until today ( 2 weeks after the closing) but I should be glad they handled my refinance in such a short time considering COVID”(which I also had a hand in since I was prompt on sending everything they requested) That is not how I think a problem should be handled! I would not recommend Sunny to anyone!

Had a wonderful experience with the entire team, especially Sunny and Jas. Communication was frequent and I was informed often of the status of our refinance. Sunny ensured he took the time to explain all of my options across multiple scenarios so I could be fully informed of each option I had. We closed quickly and seamlessly without any hiccups or delays. We saved hundreds of dollars per month and shaved multiple years off our existing loan. It was a win win no-brainer. Now of course that can't be the case, but the amount of attention and time that is given to you by someone who is ultimately selling you something has a huge impact on how you feel about them. Even though the financial world was doing somersaults Sunny took the time *I* needed to feel comfortable about what refinancing our home would look like. I had questions, my wife had questions, we discussed various options and were able to settle on what worked best for us, in our situation. He thoroughly explained every step of the process before it happened. He gave me a heads up when underwriting took longer than expected #becauseCovid. He has systems, tools, experience, and a team that make the transactional part of our relationship secondary. Seriously, he kept telling me that I should talk to other lenders just so I would feel good about making the decision to have his company refi my home. The thing is, when you find good people, who you KNOW have your best interest at heart, you don't need to verify anything; you don't need multiple "bids". The decision is made who you're working with, the rates and structure – those are just details. For me, Sunny is my lender... we'll work out the details later.
