I have been banking with C-Port for a few years now. I have only had pleasant experiences with the Riverside branch and their employees. The manager Hayden has gone above and beyond to meet my personal and business account needs. As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps his professionalism and attention to detail is always on full display. Lydia is always there to greet you with a smile and a hello by name when walking through the door. The tellers have always been diligent in their work and appreciative of their members and their needs. I would recommend this branch to anyone looking for a great personalized banking experience.
Thank you, Chris! We appreciate your thoughtful words about our Riverside branch!

Worst service ever had with this bank. All we wanted was to make a joint account. We waited for an hour for someone to call on us. Then they told us someone will be there in 2 minutes, instead they called on someone else who’s only been waiting for 5 minutes. They said someone else is coming now to help you out, then we waited for 30 minutes and still nothing. From 1pm until 3pm waiting, and we been patient, they didn’t even care to apologize for the inconvenience. We just left and went to a different bank. Northeast credit union only took us 40 minutes to get everything done.
Dear Ali, I'm Jennifer, Vice President of Branch Operations at cPort. We take your time and financial needs seriously and I apologize that we were unable to help you promptly. I would love an opportunity to learn more about your recent experience with us. Would you please call the branch at (207) 878-6200 and ask for me? Or, the next time you are at the Riverside location, have a teller let me know that you are here? I want to see that this doesn't happen to you or any member in the future. It's through listing to members like you that will make us better.

This is hands down the worst banking option. If you aren’t in cannabis, why would you ever use them? Horrible customer service and they can’t offer the same service as traditional banks, connecting quickbooks was a nightmare that took months, they hire inexperienced employees to operate their facility and it shows. Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had using a bank. They do not care about your business, they do not want MRBs. The members of the union were very close to discontinuing the program due to excessive federal overreach. Their solution seems to be to raise the fees to the point that no one wants to stay.
Hi Randy. I’m Jennifer MacArthur, The VP of Branch Operations here at cPort. Would you please call 1-800–464-0253 and ask for me? Our goal is to provide the best financial experience to all our members. I would like to try to answer all your questions and hear your concerns in more detail.

I needed a car loan. I got a suggestion for cport credit union. So I checked the website, and they have excellent auto loan rates. So I signed up to be a member, and I was accepted. I then applied for a loan and worked with Theresa. She made the whole process easy and helped me with anything I needed. I mostly emailed back and forth to get things done. Thank you cport. I'll update the review if anything changes in the future.
We're happy to have you as a cPort member, Scott. We try to make the auto loan process as seamless as possible. Enjoy your new wheels!

I'm new to credit unions, having only ever used a national bank prior. I got a local account last year for my car payment to come out of, as my car loan is also local. The teller at this branch (forgive me, the gentleman with the glasses, whose name I did not get) was really great when I explained that I had no idea how to use shared branching, but I was out of time to drive across town. All in, the transaction took MAYBE 5 minutes. The deposit went in, my loan is paid, it wasn't that hard.
Thank you, Alicia! We are thrilled to hear the transaction was quick and provided you with more knowledge on shared branching.

Well, 3 strikes. Today, I learned the app gives me an account number that isnt correct. I gave the incorrect number to the IRS and they sent the refund and it bounced back to them. NOW I WAIT FOR A PAPER CHECK... I am and have been on hold for a "manager" to ask why they would set it up so I would fail. (24 mins) Last year I had to do a deposit while my father was on his last days in hospice. I had been to this branch many times and signing the checks and telling them where to deposit or cash worked fine. I gave the teller the $ and what I needed and also let her know I needed get back to my dad. (granted I was exhausted) She slammed the slip down and sent it back to me 2x while I kept missing the information. My father passed away while I was in the drive-thru lane for 20 min. I applied for a car loan and my sales person could not be bothered. He never called me, it was always me reaching out. I never got a truth in lending statement and when he told me I was approved it was for a monthly payment I could not afford and a very short term. It seemed after I talked to his manager, the managers seem to leave the loan agents to it and do not do follow up or check their CRMs (this was rectified by my complaint thru management) My synopsis is there are some pretty great people there. They have made it almost impossible to use their software and I am running out of trust.
Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and speak with us on the phone about your concerns. Our primary purpose as your credit union is to provide you with the best financial service, and you identified times when we didn't do that. We take your comments seriously, and a group of senior management met to discuss the examples you pointed out. We are taking steps internally to ensure these things do not happen again to you or any other member. We're sorry we didn't meet your expectations, and we'll be working hard to regain your trust.

I've went through this place two loans and both times nothing but greatness. I got to work with the branch manager for both personal and auto loan and each time he got me the lowest rates possible, I've switched to them as my full-time bank and will be going to them when its time to buy a house!
Thank you, Brady! We are happy to hear you had a great experience at our Riverside branch. Thank you for being a member!

I’ve been trying to open an account since 1/28/22. I have not received any follow up since Erin’s initial email Welcome Email. I’ve called and emailed- no response. We will be banking with another Credit Union.
Thank you for reaching out Skieler. We apologize for the communication issue. We know that our MSR offices being closed has presented some challenges in normal activities. We will be back to taking in-office appointments very soon, and will address this situation.

Americans struggle everyday to get a small business loan with all necessary documents but this bank is providing no credit, no doc loans to immigrants only. Crazy world we live in.

In the past they have been a good bank. Similar to other comments on this thread I stay with them now as it's a convienent location. Closing on Saturday has significantly affected me and I can't even get to the open hours. The Saturday hours was a huge benefit. No empathy from customer service at the Riverside branch when I called to ask a question. Covid shouldn't impact a huge swath of customers who work for a living. Cut the weekend but extend the week hours earlier or later. I understand the reasoning however 8 to 5 isn't reasonable.
We really appreciate your membership, Keri. Regarding Saturdays, we continue to reevaluate our hours. Even while the offices are closed, we do have Member Service Representative teams on staff to assist with virtual appointments and we would be happy to show you how many teller-related services can be done via our online banking service.
