The office staff seems to be inexperienced. Different people tell you different things. They seem to be focused on making money rather than serving customers now. Very disappointing what it's become.

I haven't had an issue with this bank since I got a loan for a car back around 2010-11. Paid the car off a few years ago. Now I'm looking for a lien release letter so I can donate the car I no longer drive. Lady I got through to on the phone was was quick to tell me they no longer have my car's VIN on file and I need to go to the bank and get the lien release. Um....why? What's the difference between getting a letter from the bank on the phone than going to the same bank in person to get one? How will it be different in person if they don't have it on file? I'll update my rating after I go to the bank...see how that goes... EDIT: No hassle. Was only there for about a half an hour...got the letter and got rid of the car. So I'll give it a 4 since I had to drive out.

The Front says open till 5pm, drive up lobby is closed. Go to drive through and that's closed. No posted covid hours or nothing. Awesome customer service to sit inside and watch us figure our how to get our business done. BTW it's 330 pm on a Monday.

If I could leave a lower review I would. This is the worst bank I've ever joined. I would never recommend someone to join this bank either. I drive to a hour away and fraudulence is reported on my card. I call a phone number twice about getting my card working again and I even change my pin, try to use my card just for it to be declined. I go in the bank in person the next day to be bitched at by a woman who tells me I'm at fault and I get my card reactivared and it still doesn't work. I was in the bank twice this week to withdraw money and get a city check and no one tells me my account has a fraud warning. This woman lies to me and tells me the bank tellers wouldn't see it, no bank would allow a person with a fraud warning to withdraw money from an account. Now I still can't use my card three days later and am being told I have to return to the bank after I was called a liar on the phone saying I wasn't me after I gave my card number, expiration, code on the back of the card, my social security number, my account password, my security questions and everything just be told over and over again that it wasn't me because I called on my work phone and not the number they had on file. I'm calling the better business bureau and filing a claim against them. I'm absolutely done with this bank. If you love being harassed join this bank.

I've only been banking with them since August, but they've been super nice so far. Everyone there is super helpful and friendly to me. My account was disabled once because I made a $1,300 purchase all at once online, and they were able to help me restore it over the phone really quickly.

Terrible banking policies. If I could give no stars I would. They love to charge overdraft fees, for instance my car payment is an automatic debit and my paycheck is directly deposited, but my car payment somehow comes out at 1am and my paycheck don't hit till later in the morning and I get charged an overdraft fee because my check goes in later in the morning? There should be a grace period before fees start hitting the account. Worse bank I've ever dealt with.

Great credit union 99% of the problems people have with overdraft fees they bring them on themselves. If you have auto pay keep enough money in the account to pay the bill problems solved. We never had a problem with cornstone so if you are getting charged it's most likely on your end nobody will ever be 100% happy it's in our DNA.

Come on now guys. I'm over here deployed in Afghanistan and don't have any access to account statements for a loan I have with them. I don't get emails or anything else with them either, I just pay through my bank (USAA) online to the auto loan they have. A few months ago they dinged my credit score for missing a payment. After I see the report from my credit score I track them down and give them a call. I don't have any information for my account but they look me up and tell me what's going on. Turns out they didn't have my renewed insurance statement so they tried to apply their own insurance which made the payments go up so my automatic payment was not sufficient and they reported me for missing a payment. I'd like to set up an account so I can monitor the loan instead of just making automatic payments but I don't have any of my account information over here and they can't give me any of that information over the phone. I understand some of these situations but for goodness sakes, I've never missed a payment and you're going to ding my credit. Why don't you actually reach out and try to get ahold of your customer first. And what about my account now? Is there no solution for me to monitor my account cause "Sorry, I can't help you" is the only response I was given. --Follow up. Got a hold of "Shelly" from Technical Support. She was very pleasant and helped me with my account whoa's. Caused me to raise the rating from a 1 to a 3. I'm still pretty peeved that they dinged my credit. The current system that is being used is not very helpful. I don't receive statements either in the mail or through email and even though I now have a login I can't actually check the status of my account so how am I supposed to know if there is a problem with my account? I do appreciate Shelly though for getting me as straight as can be at this time. I'd certainly recommend making some adjustments to the online system though.

THIS BANK DOES NOT HAVE A FRAUD DEPT! My card was compromised and used at rite aid on a Saturday. First charge went through (and my account was charged!) Second charge was flagged and they shut down my account. I went to use my card Sunday - it was declined. No call from the bank to tell me what happened. I had to wait until Monday because they're closed on weekends. Call Monday, told to come into bank. The people at the bank told me to 'take it up with rite aid.' Basically that it's my problem. After I stated the person on the phone told me otherwise, they started to complain about how theyre 'told to do it one way but telling customers something different' and finally they filed their paperwork and send me on my way with no insight on what happens now as this is the first time I've been through this. I call the next day for an update, told I'd be reimbursed (it wasn't a small amount of $). 20 minutes later they call and tell me I need to file a police report. She said to go to the state troopers as they have jurisdiction over the state. (I live in Lockport, charge was in williamsville). Trooper tells me I need to file with Amherst police. Amherst police tell me I need to file with Lockport. NOW ITS THURSDAY NIGHT and I had to deliver the police report to them after driving around WNY over the past 2 days when THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY I NEEDED TO FIX IT. Pulling my money out Monday after work and going somewhere PROFESSIONAL.
