CommunityBank of Texas N 5th St, Silsbee

I do not have an account with this bank and I will not ever have an account with this bank. I was doing some work for some people who needed to deposit some money into the account before they could pay me. They told the people that the funds would be available within 48 hours. It is now 48 hours later and I have now been to the bank twice today and they have told me that they cannot cash the check because the funds are not available and it could be an additional 6 days before they could cash it. If you need your money, you better deposit it two weeks ago, because it looks like that's the way they do things at this bank.

I was on my son's account when he passed away this bank froze the account and it showed we were 1 million dollars in the hole. When I called them about it they lied and said social security froze the account but social security told me they don't do that. There was still almost 500 dollars in the account when I finally got to the bottom of things and the bank finally told me the truth that they froze it so I closed the account and still haven't got my 500 as of yet.

My experience with this bank has been outstanding. Really polite staff and great customer service.
