    I have been with Community Mortgage Funding for several years I have worked with many of the people mentioned in complaints listed below. First we are in a Pandemic, Second Scott Fraley, Nanette Davila (no longer there) Debbie Lankford, and Jennifer Montez are ALL Exceptional people to work with. You need to Understand with Low Rates everyone wants there Loans done. The whole team at CMF works hard, and diligently to make sure our loans are taken care of. Be patient there are millions of people Refinancing and Buying. If you call leave a detailed message or email is faster, I can assure you that the CMF team is here to Help you and wants to close your loan in an expeditious manner EXCEPT County Recorder's Office has limited hours and is overwhelmed with Recording Documents. CMF offers competitive rates at low closing fees. Thank you CMF for Refinancing my loan, family and friends great job 😎

    My CMF experience… I was referred to this company by my credit union SCEFCU. Never thought a simple pre-approval could be so painful and time consuming :-/ *6/9/2021: Contacted by CMF Sales Support rep “EM” asking if I’d like to renew my pre-approval *6/16/2021: Secured updated docs and uploaded *6/29/2021: Emailed CMF Sales Support rep “EM” asking for confirmation that all docs were submitted correctly since I have not received a response. No response received *6/30/2021: Emailed CMF Loan Officer Asst "RO" and asked for call back and status *7/2/2021: Received a call back from Loan Officer Asst “RO” and was asked, in so many words, how urgent is the need for the pre-approval. I explained I would like to submit offers and was told by “RO” that the pre-approval would be ready on Tue 7/6 *7/14/2021: No contact or updated pre-approval to date *7/14/2021: Google Review Submitted. UPDATE *7/16/2021: Pre-Approval received. Disappointed in SCEFCU for referring this lender; even more disappointed in CMF for wasting my time.

    I have my mortgage with CMF and has been a horrible experience, I been trying to get a current mortgage statement for over a month. I called and get in contact with a dozen of people that promise to send it and until now I get NOTHING but frustration. I will not recommend this company to no one.

    If I can give them an half a star, I would. I was interested in refinancing my home. I spoke with Scott who had my file. He said that he would look it over and get back with me in 30 min. That was at 9am and at 330, still no call back. Instead, I called him. He said that he was in a meeting was the reason, he hadn't called, but would look at my file at call me back in 15 min. Three weeks later, still have heard back. I ended up calling another lender and was approved the next day. My loan will be closing escrow in a week. Community mortgage has terrible customer service....BTW, although they had all my info through the credit union, I did not authorize them to run my credit. On my credit report, they ran it twice

    I would NEVER recommend this company not even if they were the last company available. They were recommended to us by SCE so we could purchase our first home. We waited over a week for a phone call and never received a phone call. I made three phone calls, and every phone number I was given was wrong. A week later, we finally received a link to download all of our documents to get a pre approval letter and was told it will. take 2-3 days to receive a pre approval. It’s now 3 WEEKS LATER, they LOST our paper work, and now they WON’T RETURN our phone calls. Rebecca and Alan are unbelievably unprofessional. Especially, when we left both of them a message to let them know if they do not return my phone call the next day they were going to lose our business. They never returned our phone calls. They’ve lost our trust, our business and our entire family’s business. God help you if you decide to use them for any purchase. NOTE: AFTER THEY LOST OUR BUSINESS, AND I POSTED THIS, THEY RAN OUR CREDIT ANWAY. We were notified immediately by credit bureaus. 😡 Now I’m filing several complaints against them.

    This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. My story is too long to list but let’s just say they won’t take my payments and I’ve received multiple empty promises regarding forbearance and the assistance programs they offer. I cannot even begin to express my loathing for this mortgage lender. I can’t wait to switch. Seriously f the whole place. Set the whole place on fire.

    Referred by my Credit Union SCE. SCE always provides excellent customer service, so that's what i was expecting from this company. My first conversation with loan officer Allen Young was a huge flag to look elsewhere but i decided to give them a 2nd chance and requested to work with someone else , then assigned to Scott F. Our first conversation was good and it seemed like we were going to be able to work together and move forward. That was also our last conversation as i have not been able to get in touch with him. even to get reception to answer is a hassle. Dodging a bullet here and looking else where. i also mentioned to reception the last time i called ( since she was emailing Scott to call me back ) that if i didn't hear from them i wont not be calling back .

    If I could rate this company a negative star I would, my family and I had a horrible experience refinancing with CMF. Not only did it take over 9 months to finish the process but the poleople helping would often go on leave or vacations while we were waiting for important documents to be sent over, in one incident the lady helping us said she would contact us within a week for the final papers yet when we didn’t hear from her, and after calling and emailing several times they told us she had left on vacation for a month! All while we were waiting for her call. In another issue, our other loan officer had me print out an 80 page document from my own home printer, then when the Noter came he brought the same documents! I constant had to print and scan several documents (I was basically doing their job) The only reason we were able to refinance with them was because after much fruatration I began calling them every day, after we finally refinanced they sent me an email to which I politely mentioned our issues with the company, but didn’t receive a response.

    Whatever you do - do not use this company! Buying a home is stressful enough, so you want a good partner working besides you - that is not Community Mortgage Funding! We were working with Allen Young, and when he wasn’t on vacation he wouldn’t respond to our emails. He misspelled our names on very important documents, didn’t happen to mention that we were going to get a super high interest rate, and would add rush fees to items that we didn’t ask for. When all of this became to much to just write off as just a minor error, we had to change lenders. So far this has been the worst company I have ever worked with. Please save yourself the headache.

    OMG! I went through 7 different lenders and could not get a loan. I resorted to private money and was also referred to Community Mortgage Funding at the same time. I almost didn't go through another lengthy process, but I really did not want to get private money. NANETE was the first one who initially helped me and she got the right people involved to process my loan pretty quick. I prayed and prayed as they were my last hope for a good loan and they came through at the last minute before I almost lost my private money deal. The staff was so professional, answered questions, and I got them what they needed IMMEDIATELY so that there was no delay on my part. It is a stressful job that they do, but let me tell you the impact they made for me and my family is UNMEASUREABLE. We love the house! We love the interest rate! We love the payments!
