    Would give them zero stars if I could. Literally the most incompetent worthless bank I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Car insurance comes out for four years straight the same time every month.. One month they just decline the payment; not because of insufficient funds, not for fraudulent activity they just decline it and do not notify me. I find out the payment was declined because of a lapse in insurance coverage which made my "insurance credit score go down" and now I have to pay a higher premium for years. The branch manager literally offered me $50.00 to help ease my mind.. what a joke I call today to have them just block a charge for a subscription I no longer have access to; they can't do something that simple without replacing my debit card.. but they can just not pay my insurance company.. makes perfect sense. Take your money over to Vystar across the street, better loans, better odds of getting a loan, great customer service. All of my loans are through vystar, Community First has never even considered me for a loan it's pretty comical with a 780 credit score.

    Terrible bank !! Service is bad. Can’t get a human on the phone. The atm is usually broken and you have to go into the bank. Ordered new debit card a week ago Tuesday . Called they said it was mailed last Saturday. So it took from Tuesday to Saturday to mail ???? It is now Friday and still no card . I’m leaving this credit union. 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

    Great bank helpful people one of the ladies in the drive thru today 2/5/22 was NOT pleasant as can be but the day goes in.. I drive a long way to stay w this bank they are “ The chosen one“ Have been there for me for all my BIG DEALS! Highly recommend 🏆

    I was considering banking here but had a check issued by someone who banks here after getting the run around and harassment by the employees I would never go back or bank with this company. On a second note took same check and I.D. card to jax Beach branch and was greeted with a smile and no problems just be the branch and improperly management of staff. And then getting a response from management for me to do their job is an insult do your job train your staff properly and make sure everyone is treated properly and happy with their experience

    Usually, this credit union executes pretty well. But over the last few months they have really started to fail. It is now the 7th day of a new month and the on-line statements are still not available for the previous month. Response to messages by customer service is non-existent. I don't want to do it but will probably have to change financial institutions if they can't get their act together.

    As far as credit unions go, Community is OK. This is not my primary financial institution and I would never bank with them exclusively. The checking account does what it is suppose to do but my gripe is with their ATM. I have had multiple problems at the St. Augustine location and with the one off San Jose in the Mandarin area of Jax. I have never seen ATMs that are constantly out of service or cannot accept cash or a check. There is hardly a week that goes by that there is not something going on with these machines. About a month ago during a cash deposit transaction at the St. Augustine branch, the machine froze up, then restarted and would not eject my debit card. I waited a good 5-10 mins to see if it would finally release my debit card. It did not. Finally I had to drive off. I have no idea if it finally did release my debit card but I had to call them a couple hours later (the customer service department was closed at that time) and cancel my card and get a new one issued. What a hassle. About a week ago when I went to make a deposit, the machine was stuck on the verifying the cash deposit on whoever was there before me. It would not exit that screen so whoever the unlucky person was before me hopefully didn't lose their cash they were trying to deposit not to mention their debit card. The one in Jax/Mandarin has plenty of issues too. It seems to be out of service more than it's up and/or cannot accept a cash or check deposit. Get it together Community First! As much as you like to brag about the number of members and total deposits y'all get in those monthly emails you send out, spend some of that money updating and fixing those garbage ATMs you have. I'm just very underwhelmed with this Credit Union.

    Unfortunately this is the only branch in St Augustine. They are extremely slow!! Good luck going through the drive through, very slow, they may say open but most of them are not. I highly recommend any other bank!!

    I don't write negative reviews. This may be the second one I have had to do. I prefer to stay positive or leave it alone. Had a car loan that was paid off. They kept automatically taking payments. No big deal a computer glitch. Trying to get my money back is an insane hassle. Zero accountability from management. I am now dealing with my bank in dispute process. My bank said this could have been easily handled and was preposterous. I expect this from a big bank not a local one.

    I wouldn't recommend this credit union to anyone!! When I first moved here from Maine I financed a NEW car from them with a great interest rate, and decided to open an account with them. 2 yrs later I bought another NEW car and was told because I'm now a member the low interest rate doesn't apply its only for non-members. Absolutely backwards, I'm so angry that I will be closing my account and will try to refinance at another institution ASAP!!

    Good credit union and rates bad customer support. I couldn't log online so I called waited 20 minutes on hold and they couldn't help me, just told me to go back online and try again. This company is right up there with direct TV on customer support
