I’m giving 5 stars to the Clive locations, and 10 stars to ANN, my account was over drafted big time due to me using my debit card for an emergency and unfortunately the emergency amount came out before my bills, leading to overdraft fees and a huge negative balance, Ann took the time to listen to my issues and took the time to reach out to someone who then reversed a couple of my OD fees, it might not seem special to some people, but to me her Customer service was superb! I’ve delt with some unhappy reps at a different location, so her willingness to help was much appreciated! Thank you, Ann!!!

Called and talked to three different people, all who told me that they couldn't do anything as far as look into removing overage charges that were accruing even though that company didn't have permission to pull anything from my account. When I got a hold of someone who was willing to listen, she was very short and very sarcastic about the whole situation. She tried to transfer me to accounting, but came back saying that no one is there and that someone would call me back as soon as they got off the phone. It's been three hours now.....this is similar to going into the branch...you wait at least fifteen minutes with no one reassuring you that what you need done it going to get done. I am giving three stars because it seems every so often that you get someone helpful who cares but you have to be higher up the ladder like in accounting.

I have been a member with Community Choice Credit Union for three years. I personally prefer credit unions over banks and what caught my attention was their slogan “unbank with us”. It turns out that they treat you worse than a bank. Their online banking is constantly down. One weekend the online banking was down so I got in my car and drove to their ATM in order to obtain a balance inquiry. Come Monday when the online banking was up they charged me a $1 fee for checking my balance at their ATM. I politely asked for a refund and they declined. I found this ridiculous because it was their system that was down forcing me to drive to the ATM. In addition to this I request to have 1-2 rolls of quarters bi-weekly and every time I do the teller acts like it’s a huge inconvenience for her to get up and retrieve more rolls if she is out in her drawer. Lastly, my biggest complaint... one morning I checked my account balance and noticed a $5.30 annual debit card fee. I’ve never seen this before so I called to inquire. I spoke to Blake who explained that since the cost of printing cards has gone up they are now charging an annual fee and said “it isn’t my fault if you didn't check your bank statements, which is how you were notified that this would happen”. I was in complete shock that she was so rude and unprofessional. So my next question was my card doesn’t expire for years so you’re going to charge me an annual fee for a service that I don’t receive annually? At this point she transferred me to her manager named Tara. I told Tara how unprofessional Blake was and Tara didn’t seem to care. In fact Tara said that it was my choice to bank elsewhere. Tara also told me that she banks elsewhere (Shocker! She doesn’t even bank where she works because it’s so bad) and that the other credit union also charges a card fee. I explained that it feels like you are charging me a fee to spend MY money, which is what banks do, not credit unions. This credit union is adopting policies that mainstream banks do in order to make more money. With that being said Veridian Credit Union does NOT charge any fees for maintaining a debit card and only requires a $5 minimum balance in your savings. Veridian Credit Union here I come!!!

Horrible waiting times. Mobile deposit doesn't work. I like how they will auto debit your account on weekends, but will not deposit checks through mobile deposit if deposited on Fridays till Tuesday the following week. The new app has many problems. I'm glad I kept my old bank account open from my other bank! I'll be switching back to my old bank very soon.

Their online banking site has been down so I can't access my accounts. Last year we traveled to Germany and they canceled my husband's credit card the day we left and issued him a new one - great - he could not charge anything while in Europe. We just came back from Denmark and my debit card worked once and then the PIN was no longer valid. I tried to reach them via email but got no response. I kept trying and the server kept timing out. Today I am back and their online banking site is not responding. I tried to get an answer about my debit card but since I am now back in the US and it works once again they see no problem I no longer trust them as my financial institution and will be looking around to replace them.

Christine (teller on west end of counter)helped me yesterday when I had misplaced my debit card, she was pleasant, charming and very helpful. She went out of her way to assist me with two separate issues. The dark haired young lady to the east of her was very nice as well. Thank you for putting a smile on my face as I left.

Service has gotten worse and worse here. Expect condescending attitudes where employees ignore questions, make up answers, or state 'it's policy' and refuse to explain more. Want to deposit a check or transfer money? That may be allowed, against some unwritten policy, or require several days to perform depending on your luck.

I have been banking here for over 10 yrs. Have had savings, checking, and auto loans with them. Love the people. Only problem was when we went to get our mortgage it just did not seem they wanted our business.

Been to this BANK a couple times, only had one experience where I wasnt given a hard time. Both the staff and day manager are rude and disrespectful, both made a lot of excuses for it, and then proceeded to put my money in the wrong account

This bank has terrible customer service. The tellers are rude and the manager/loan officer is so unhelpful. I would not recommend banking here unless you like being treated like dirt.
