I have been a member of credit unions for years. I have been in the Board and I was chairman of the Supervisory Committee. We were a member at a different credit union and after they moved and did things contrary to being a credit union I shopped around for a new one. I went in to several Credit Unions and interviewed them. There was only one stand out Credit Union! Coloramo! Friendly and service minded. They answered questions and they are a real credit union. I even had a problem and they took care of it!!!! Thank you!!!! If you don’t know credit unions they do not behave like banks. You become a member! Which is different from being a customer. I am thrilled to be a member of Ciloramo !!!

We recently Re financed a vehicle through Coloramo Federal Credit Union. We dealt with loan officer Troy Johnson. Mr Johnson was more than helpful. We appreciated his advise and assistance. Very hard to find good customer service any more. It was a great experience.

It seems every 3rd or 4th time I use my debit card the bank puts a hold on my card. They say it’s to protect from fraudulent use but it’s gotten ridiculous. I buy dinner then go somewhere later and my card is declined even though I have plenty money in my account. I’ve had to call the bank repeatedly to have the hold taken off of my card. This is becoming a ridiculous hassle, extremely frustrating and makes me think this bank is just a joke

This used to be the best place in the valley to bank. Not anymore. Mt brother and I opened a checking account6 weeks ago. As his wife had just passed. Was told his S.S. was set up for direct deposit. And we would be getting debit cards in the mail. We still haven't gotten debit cards and S.S. was not able to deposit his check. I have called several times have been treated rudely. I have also left messages with Samona Searcy. The woman who supposed to have opened the account. She has never called back. The clecks I have talked to have been no help. If you are thinking of opening an account with them run for for your life.

We just started a vehicle loan through canvas and so far they have Added $325 to our loan claiming we have not sent in proof of insurance and we did. Horrible customer service and there automated machine is terrible as well.

Don’t waste your time even bothering with this bank they have horrible customer service. They always have an issue with payments online and then call you to say the payment never went thru even when you have proof that it did they blame it on the system or just claim they can’t find it. It’s a bunch of bull ! The females working there think they can speak to you how ever they please talking about go somewhere else then. Yes I will take my money and get a better bank !

My wife and I refinanced a new car loan with Ashley Watson. The loan at Coloramo had a better interest rate for the same term, which saved us around $40 a month for the next 60 months. Ashley made the process easy, allowed us to sign documents remotely, and had the loan closed in a day or two. Awesome!

Absolutely terrible customer service and all around bad experience. After coming in to get a new card because my old one expired I received a call saying that my new card (issued to me at the bank by a teller ) was being deactivated because it is not the card that they sent in the mail… I told the lady that I do not give permission to cancel my current card because I work in remote areas in the mountains and need to access funds until I am able to return to grand junction over the weekend to be issued another new card. She refused, stating “you do not have a choice” and canceled it anyway before I had the opportunity to withdraw money from an atm to last the rest of the week. I have been a member for years and keep thousands of dollars in my account at all times. Now I do not have access to my funds to purchase food or even pay my rent until I can make the 4 hour drive to grand junction so they can issue me a new card… I will now be tagged with late fees for not being able to pay my rent on time. Coloramo should do the right thing and reactive my card so I am able to access the funds that I have trusted them with over the years or at the very minimum step up pay for any late fees at are occurred from THEIR mistake! This is unacceptable and I advise everyone to steer clear of this bank.
