They no longer service regular transaction customers inside the branch. Now they redirect you to an ATM looking machine INSIDE the branch to do all your money transactions. You can either use the machine as an ATM, or it will become an interactive zoom-type video chat with some random call center stranger located in their Oak Grove call center. The lack of privacy is even worse. There are no barriers to protect you from someone watching your screen. Plus, if you don't use the phone attached to the machine to talk to the agent (which is NOT sanitized after every customer) then you can literally hear the conversation, including the call center rep ask for a little old lady's secret password for her account which she said loudly because she was talking to a computer screen and didn't know if she would be heard (this literally happened just now while I was next to her using a machine). For me personally, not only do I choose a bank for good fees but also for connection to a personal banker. If I wanted to do online banking only, there are a ton of options to choose from. I wanted to bank here because I wanted to support a local bank, and help contribute to employment in my small town. Now it's being outsourced. As soon as my loan is paid off, I will be closing my account and taking my business where it will be appreciated by someone, in person.

We do not outsource any of our branch services and continue to provide an in-person experience at all of our locations, serviced by folks who all live locally. This model has actually allowed us to hire more staff from our local communities, offer a more secure branch experience for our team, and to have team members available when and where our members need them. We remain committed to protecting your privacy throughout all of our service channels. The Canby location will be adding panels between each ITM to provide for a more private experience. I originally joined this FCU to support local businesses and families. Since joining in December 2021, we've never experienced good customer service. The lady who helped us open our account was friendly, open, and honest, and helpful. That was the last time we saw any of that. We were supposed to have overdraft protection from day 1, but when we had a bill try to come through (that we forgot about, tbh), there wasn't enough to cover it, so instead of paying it and charging the overdraft fee, they simply charged the overdraft fee. They've done this on more than one occasion. And they told us that it's at their discretion whether it gets paid or not. I don't think that's right. If we have overdraft protection, you should push it through and charge the fee. Not only that, but we were treated like criminals any time we went inside to make a withdrawal. No matter the and amount, they gave us odd looks, said things like "let me check something real quick" or "umm, hang on just a minute" and left the counter to go talk to a supervisor. Needless to say, as soon as we can get all of our deposits switched over to our new bank, we'll be closing our accounts. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the first lady we talked to, and ease of access (5 minutes from home).

I have used them for years and never had a problem. Call me old fashioned but I would rather have actual people working in the building than try to bank with a machine

Credit Unions are much more people friendly than banks as they are not profit oriented and try to be helpful to the customer. Clackamas fed is good example of wonderful customer service experience. And now that they have decreased the advertising on the mobile app they are even better.

Vicki, at this awesome bank, helped me refinance my car a couple weeks ago and It's been difficult dealing with my CURRENT lender, auto acceptance. I've had to call into Clackamas credit union multiple times (due to auto acceptance being a horrible buisness and being extremely rude to me) and spoke with Vicki and Kersi (prob botched her name I'm sorry) and they have both been so helpful and so kind to me. I've only been with this bank a couple weeks now but they have won me over just with their kindness alone. They take their jobs seriously and have gone above what is expected from a lender. I will recommend this bank to everyone!

I am shocked at the lack of service at this bank these days. It used to be top notch. Not so much anymore. I lost my debit card and had to call to cancel the card. Unreal how rude the person was.

I just went through the stressful process of buying a car and I can't say enough how thankful I am I chose to get my loan through Clackamas Federal. It was hands down the best banking experience I have EVER had; Ashley Behrendt was my main point of contact through the entire process and she was exceptional. I have never bought private party before so I had an excess amount of questions and concerns that she always answered quickly and thoroughly. I absolutely felt like she had my back throughout the entire process and turned a stressful life event into something so easy and exciting. I thought I might have just lucked out but I called in with an urgent question when Ashley was not available and spoke with Alicia who was equally as helpful - I feel that they truly went above and beyond to help me out even though I don't have a history with their credit union. Not to mention I got an interest rate over 1% lower than the credit union I previously used for an auto loan offered me, I don't know how that works since I always made my payments on time but I'm not complaining. I highly recommend everyone check out Clackamas for their financial needs, I will definitely be going to them with any needs in the future!

Go to the canby branch and see why this is a one star. Absolutely zero customer support. Long wait times for sure They act if you as the customer are a pain to them - an inconvenience.
