I started working with Patrick Shumway after receiving a preapproval letter for a home loan. It happened to be at the time we’re thinking of buying a home, so we have them a call. Patrick was very kind from the start! I was able to tell him our housing needs and he got right to work on finding us a home. He was patient with our indecisiveness on picking the perfect home! Patrick listened to our frustrations, worked hard to get the deal done. Cityworth mortgage was amazing I had great experience with the team helping me with my first home. From the lender Colton Godfrey help with everything with the process. He also recommended me to a great responsive realtor Julio Velazquez these guys provided me with not only relief but confidence during a stressful time that that comes with purchasing a home but at the end it was worth it. My overall experience with CityWorth was a positive one. There were bumps along the way and aside from a few times where I thought communication could have been a little better, the whole team did a great job. Mr. Funk in finance was professional and attentive. He helped get the financing straight through the entire process. Ms. Ogbole was a great guide during the underwriting process and helped me work through a couple hiccups that could have stopped the loan process. Mr. Shumway on the real estate side was the star of this show! He worked so hard as a go between myself, CityWorth finance, the closing company and the seller’s agent. Admittedly, he took some flack from me as well as the other side at times, but he handled it professionally and doggedly. He stood up for me and was able to obtain the details that I needed to make this all happen. There were a lot of balls in the air at times but he juggled them with ease. I liked how this team works together. It was very convenient to have the finance side and the real estate side working together toward a positive outcome for their customer. My sincere thanks to the entire team at CityWorth. My family is now in our forever home and loving every minute of it.

My wife and I both had gone through some recent life changes before getting married and wondered if we could even get a house at this point. Just closed today on a beautiful lake front property in Lakeland. Chris Perkins was my go to from day one (January 21st). That's right, I called Jan 21 and closed today March 2nd without any idea of what I was looking for or what I could afford. Chris always answered the phone, completely managed every detail of the search, the deal, and the closing. Likewise Nick Baietti (Loan Officer) worked closely with Chris to seal an excellent deal and managed to update my credit for a better rate! Chris scheduled prompt property visits, had excellent negotiating skills, and with Nick was able to get us closed in 30 days from contract.
