I've been banking at this location for over 20 years. And I've been banking also at Wells Fargo on San Fernando, and Bank of America on Olive. Citibank is by far the best in my book. They don't place my money on hold for a week, the lines are usually short and the customer service is great!

The reason I contacted the Citibank wire fraud department was not answered for like the 5th time out of 8 times I’ve contacted them regarding this matter. While i was at work, on the morning of March 18, 2021, I became a victim of someone hacking into my online banking, listing themselves as a payee and made several transactions transferring money from my checking and savings account to another account. Being that I had email notifications set up, I was able to catch it before all of my funds were depleted and contacted you all to which you blocked the account and informed me to go to the nearest branch to open another. After work, I attempted to contact the fraud department to find out the damage that had been caused, how would my money be recovered, and if there was anything else required of me to do. While on hold during the first two attempts the call was dropped. The third time I was hung up on by the representative. Frustrated, I went into the Burbank branch explained what was going on but was told I would need to schedule an appointment to open a new account and someone would contact me before they closed. I never received a call. Finally, I talked to a rep by phone and explained everything again and he told me that he sent an email to a manager at the Burbank branch to contact me by the end of the day tomorrow, which would be Friday, to schedule me an appointment to come in and open the new account. I didn’t receive a call at all the next day and waited until almost end of business day to just go back into the branch. That evening, I arrived at this Citibank branch in Burbank, CA which wasn’t so busy as it usually is and once I got to the clerk and explained why I was there, that I hadn’t been contacted and what I needed to do, there was minimum care about my issue and no sense of urgency at all. I explained to them how much of an inconvenience it’s been and how I couldn’t access any of my money and wasn’t going to wait another day to be able to access my money and then they had someone to help me shortly after. Here it is almost three months later After opening the new checking and savings account and I’ve heard nothing from you all regarding a solution to the issue. I’ve filed a local police report, FBI report as well and faxed all the documents over to the wire fraud department as asked and every time I contact you all it’s a struggle to get someone on the phone that knows anything. One representative even told me “not to count on receiving my money back” actually to plan on not getting it back because we don’t really ever get people their money back in situations like these. I’m getting married in a couple months, as the money that was stolen from me was for wedding costs and I would like to have that money back. I would like to receive some type of contact, that I didn’t have to initiate, from Citibank about this. In the beginning I was told that I would receive letters in the mail informing me of what’s going to be done and how I would get my money back. I HAVENT RECEIVED ONE LETTER OR PHONE CALL YET! I’d like to feel as if this is important to you all as it is to me, especially with me being a loyal customer with this bank for almost 5 or 6 years now. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BANK WITH CITIBANK AS I WILL BE TAKING MY MONEY ELSEWHERE.

I have come to this branch hundreds of times. They have a parking structure that you have to get a stamp for when you go into the branch. They usually have two to three tellers at all times. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes max. You usually have to make an appointment to see the bankers because they are very busy. They also have street parking on the very front. This branch is located in the 1st floor of a building that is shared with a private bank and other offices. I have to ATM's on the very front of the building.

I've been a business customer of Citi Bank for years. First time ever encountering what I encountered today. I noticed fee's on my business account and haven't had any activity on my production account. Sam Tabbara the bank manager couldn't explain to me where these bank fee's were being charged from and why? After fifteen minutes of the run around with no straight answers Sam then says I just need to pay the fees and that I shouldn't have a business account with little money in it. (It's none of this employee's business what is in my account first of all and how much is run through it. I explained it's a production account and production money on projects is placed into the account. As we are in production money is spent. Regardless Sam refuses to give me any straight answer as to why I incurred fees. I became aggravated and cursed to him about the situation and stated I'm not blaming or cursing you. He said he has the right to refuse service and I said I have the right to freedom of speech as long as it's not directed at him. Sam asked me to leave and I refused as I was given no explanation to my situation. He said he would call the police on me as he was nervous he couldn't give me clear answers, I responded to his threat to go ahead and call the police and this isn't how you treat any customer let alone a business customer. I called corporate and spoke with a supervisor who was on the call when police arrived. Police were polite and friendly and explained the laws that I have to leave due to being on private property. I said fine and told them I was on phone with corporate. The supervisor couldn't believe the conversation that I was being treated this way by the bank manager. With in 5min she had the answers I was looking for about the bank charges on my account. Sam couldn't answer and instead of calling corporate as they are instructed to do he calls police. Makes false statements that I'm banned from the branch and will personally close my account to police. The bank must do an investigation and the Area director with a security team must review the incident before anyone's banned or account closed. Sam is the rudest, un informed bank manager I've ever dealt with. He goes out side of his training to make false claims and instead of owning his ignorance in understanding bank transactions to avoid embarrassment he calls the police. There was no hostile incident and the police said it was a complete waste of their time but have to abide by the laws. I willingly left to be respectful to the police but Sam completely disrespected me as a bank customer, financially discriminated against me saying I need to keep more money in my account and made false statements to police about my personal business and accounts that is not within his power. I would advice all customers or public to avoid this bank branch at all costs. Clearly Sam doesn't understand business or how to treat customers. This manager should be fired and replaced. I've contacted my attorneys regarding what occurred today and don't wish to proceed with a civil case. I'm currently waiting for the area director to call me to discuss what occurred. I did video the incident if I have to proceed with the court. I will also upload content via social media so the public is aware of this manager and branch. I'm appalled as to the level of client I am to Citi Bank and wish that this is solved on a professional level and this managers actions are severely dealt with. I'm considering doing my business with another bank altogether after this has occurred.

This branch has the laziest business associates ever. People was in and there’s no greeting. They all look rude. Barely wanting to work. People sit on the waiting room chairs and the associates look like they’re clipping their nails. Not walking over to ask what’s the visit for? Helping is horrible.

Came in when the branched opened. There is one bank teller for four people waiting. I have been waiting for over an hour for some printed documents and the only teller is helping others on the that are coming in when clearly there is a line. I'm sure the bank teller is nice but this is really unacceptable. I'm glad I closed my account with them.

1st visit - Huge audible sigh before I was called over for service. 2nd visit - Eyeroll from the lady at the desk when asked if she was available to assist with a wire transfer. Security guard is the nicest person that works there.

As the owner of a multi million dollar business, I find it very frustrating that the people I trust with my money, have very little regard for me or others. As far as this branch in Burbank, The worst! The Armenian people really have an issue with Hispanics. Try speaking spanish to them and you will find out. Really worst bank ever!

Omg , this bank is so low on management also stuff are rude as well , I have business account for more than 17 years , usually I go to branch on Glendale but I stope tat this branch one day to get my bank statement. The teller who was a guy , gay , or girl I don't know but he was so rude , first he said he can't give my bank statement after a short conversation I asked the teller that I want to talk to the branch manager, so after 20 minutes of waiting she finally came , when I discuss my situation she told me we can't give you then she said for every page we will charge 5 $, which I never been charge by any branch so I left the branch and I don't recommend anyone to open any account at that branch or to get any service from there .
