My wallet was stolen a month ago. I had to call three times to the lost debit card number for them to find the correct financial institution and they don't handle the fraudulent charges. (Not to mention, why is an American credit union outsourcing to India) . Then I called and called and left plenty of messages with not ONE call back. They aren't open on weekends or Wednesdays. Then finally after TWO WEEKS of calling I reach someone only to have her tell me i have to come in and fill out a request for a new card. She wouldn't even listen to my charge dispute. She rattled out some extension and transferred me to an Ashley Evans. I called and left her about 5 messages which she never returned. Finally when i reached her she told me the same thing. Problem is I have transferred and no longer live in Chicago. So I can't come in. She says well I have to fax you a form and then you have to fax it back. Who the hell still has a fax machine. So I have to pay to get a fax, send a fax then pay the stolen debit card fee? What's the point? This place has unprofessional staff and outdated services. There's no point in banking here. I only stayed so I could transfer money between my account and my college kids but what's the point now. I may as well switch to one of their co- op branches that offer better services

Elaine Smith downtown location is awesome. I only gave four stars because they have no cash and have to go to another bank to cash checks. Location is good and convenient though. Been a member for years.

I lost my debit card and called this location a Hundred times and never got an answer until a week later. They didn't respond to my voicemail either. The times don't accompanying the uspa employees that live in city but don't work in the city.
