I feel I was given the run around about cashing a Texas Rent Relief check. Couldn't even give me a cashier's check or money order. The check clearly says J. P Morgan Chase Bank. I'm very disappointed since the rent is due in 2 days.

Mediocre Customer Service and Terrible Check Cashing Policy The disappointment began at the cashier counter in the bank lobby. The lady behind the front desk was unkind and informed me she would not cash my check with the Chase Bank name on it. She then referred me to a banker because she could not answer my question as to why she would not cash my check. I waited for over 5 minutes for a banker but then decided to just visit the drive up teller on my way out. The drive up teller was not much help either. He told me he could cash my check but the fee would be $8. I told him that was ridiculous to charge a customer any amount to cash a check that originated from the named bank (In this case, Chase). I then proceeded to the lobby to speak with a banker. However, the banker offered no solution other than charging me a fee for cashing the check. I left the bank premises. I then called the bank to speak with a banking manager. The banking manager was unavailable. I was transferred to customer service. Customer Service representative was located in the Philippines and was also not able to answer my question as to why there was a fee to cash a check. I was transferred to her supervisor. At this point I was told by this supervisor that the fee is required for any check over $50. This person was the only person who clarified the check amount that a fee was charged at. Disappointedly, my check was for$51. I was then transferred to the head supervisor (also in the Philippines) with no resolution gained. Through the whole process no Chase representative attempted to make restitution for me or cash this small check without a fee. I will stick to my local bank where they are helpful and will cash my checks with no fees for the customer.

I been a customer of Chase for 27 years and today I have experience a disappointment. I went to deposit some MONEY ORDERS and take $200. 00 of my account which has a balance way over $200.00 and they asked me for my ID. To take my money? And to make a withdraw 50% less than the balance on hand? So I went across the street to the ATM and no ID needed. Is not that I don’t have an ID is that that is a stupid rule. How is it that I can do the transition at the ATM just with my debit card not inside the bank? They just lost a customer.

The chase bank on 512 E highland doe not offer a restroom to its members. They have a plaque stating “no public restroom”. It’s understandable if a non bank member wants to use it “ just because” but for my grandmother who is 84 years old and been with chase for many years is ridiculous! Does chase not value its elderly members? I’ll let the public decide.

This branch is horrible they dont value their customers time had me waiting 3p mins just to tell me that they were u able to complete my transaction. The same type of transaction that anothe_r branch off nacodoghes completed for me one day before. I was on this side of town so i ran inside and the one man that finally helped me was rude and inconsiderated , do not waste your time at this branch its a shame they have the chase name because they're not up to chase standards

This branch never answers the phone. I finally went in and waited 50 minutes for the person I was supposed to see. Asked for manager who came out, never apologized for the wait, and basically said he couldn't help me because he has to be available to help customers with quicker transactions. (I guess opening an additional acct would take too long for him.) After another 5 minutes passed, I asked a female banker if I could make an appointment. She told me to write my contact info on a paper she gave me and she would be sure to give message to the banker I was waiting to see and have him call me to schedule. I never rec'd a call from him. Poor service from top to bottom.

My daughter and I (U.S. Army Vet) drove 2.5 hours to the E. Highland Blvd branch and met with Personal Banker Ronnie Flores who assisted me with an issue of fraud with my account. She was very professional and helpful to say the least. If you desire great customer service and a solid resolution, go see Ronnie.

So I asked the banker for my account number and routing number for my direct deposit and the lady in the first office on the left hand side gave me a card with that info. Well I gave the institution the direct deposit information and a week later I received a email that the direct deposit was sent. But no money on my chase account. Come to find out my direct deposit was sent to a closed account that did not have my name on it. So now I've been told different stories how and when I will receive my money from it will be redirected from the AHC department to I will get it threw the mail to it will be sent back to the sender. So no one really knows where my money is and when or how I'm going to get it back. But one thing is for sure the banker gave me a wrong account number that is now closed. Please beware if you are banking with this bank.
