Chase Bank Mountain Ave, Hackettstown

Unfortunately the Branch and Chase bank are old fashioned and do not care about the customer from the comments. From late introduction of features I've had from my banks locally and overseas. This is old fashioned poor service from the bank on the hill. Detached from their customers. I've not heard or experienced anything to the contrary. Other had TD Bank down the road is all about the customers.

Walked in to get a document notarized where there were three representatives and no customers and as refused notary services by the lead teller because they had no time. Went to TD where you don’t need an account and the documents were notarized in 5 minutes. Very disappointed in Chase customer service at this location

I needed a document notarized and since it’s my local bank I decided to go here. There was 3 employees available no customers. I was told by the notary they are understaffed and will have to come back another day . Really!! Three amployees and no one could take a few minutes out of their conversation to notarize one document for me. I will be banking elsewhere going forward.

after walking in 6 minutes late to my 4pm appointment. I saw 6 employees standing around talking to each other. I had tried to call the store to tell them that we are running late because my wife is 8 months pregnant. when we enter the bank to see everyone hanging out as if the are at a bar and not at work and then we were told to reschedule after calling them on the phone without any response or call back.. i didn't feel welcome. I have had Chase for over 15 years now. I wanted to open a new account and now this branch makes me wonder if I should even continue my business with Chase.

I can see why all bad reviews here.. Horrible customer service.. Chase bank is the worst !

It is outrageous that our reward points can no longer be used to purchase gifts. They can only be used to reduce monthly payments after you send in the minimum $40 payment. When you try to post your message, nothing happens!

Opened a business account online and came here to make my first cash deposit. Very helpful teller noted that their was some sort of hold on the account. She attempted to get help from a customer service rep inside one of the cubicles but was told that I needed to call Chase Customer service. The 2 reps did not bother to come out of their cubicles but were more interested in the minor car accident that occurred across the parking lot. I called the customer service line and was told that someone at the branch should have been able to help. TLDR; Tellers are helpful but not the reps. Find another branch.

Very very understaffed. No ATM in. So you're forced to walk around to the side of the building and use the drive up atm. Or get back in your car and drive up to it. But I had business to take care of inside the bank. But it was only one teller and one associate in the branch. Dirty as well. Candy wrappers all over the counter. But the teller was very pleasant and did a very good job helping me. It's a shame the place is so understaffed and dirty and back asswards.

I was at the Hackettstown branch today for business transactions. I have two business accounts and 5 personal. I’ve been a business and personal Chase customer for more than 20 years, more than 10 years in Randolph and since I’ve moved to Hackettstown I transferred all my business at the Mountain ave branch Although the staff have always been cordial, and helpful, today April 3, 2020 my experience was more than unpleasant, uncomfortable and I had to leave the branch with frustration and with this question : Why is the branch open to the public if some and by some I mean two of their staff will make the customers , feel unwelcome? I needed to do some changes in my business account and as soon as I walked in I was ask by the same very nice and cordial gentleman “ how can I help you “, I told that I needed help with my business account , mean while a teller from a distance in a rude way ask me “what u want “ once more a said the same thing a said before The gentleman goes back and forth from inside a cubicle where a woman was sitting and it seems that she was the one in charge of doing this kind of transaction with customers , constantly asking me what do I need, for the third time I explained Finally she takes me in ( did I mentioned that I walked in fully protected , gloves , mask and keep my social distance )?. And not even a gesture of welcome in her face , the most unpleasant person I had to dealt, clearly she did not want me there ... so I said maybe we should do this another time and I left .... You people make your own conclusions..... if anyone had to deal with this ladies before .... please post your experience here .

Worst Chase I've ever been to. The only ATM was outside and it didn't even take my card. I went inside and nobody seemed to know what they were doing behind the counter. The girl took forever for me to simply deposit $25! It took me at least 20-30 minutes to deposit money then I had to go on my app just to pay my bill. Avoid at all costs!
