I deposited my payroll check this Sunday and was notified that I wouldn’t get my money until the 15th. I never use this bank I use Chase in the Heights and have deposited my checks for three years now and never had any problems. It cost me two hours of pay to go in and try to fix this Monday morning. they said there was nothing I could do about it and I would get my money today even though on my receipt it says the 15th. It’s still has not been deposited in my account. This Banks ATMs never work are always out of order. I don’t know if that’s because it’s in the east end which is a poorer part of town than the Heights. I am 72 years old . i deposited over $1000 payroll check and I have a -$14 Account. The bank I normally use by my work is in the Heights on Washington. For three years I’ve never had any problem. When I deposit my check I get the full amount in my account automatically. I have been a customer for 10 years.IWill never use this bank again

They denied to cash my Chase check from my job. I went to go cash my check at Capital One Bank with no problem.

Nice large Chase Bank on Capitol St @ S. Wayside Dr that serves the East End. It's a very convenient location. I like the large, well lighted parking lot with three ATMs mounted in the front of the building. A safe location to make a withdrawal. Bank associates are friendly and outgoing.

What a HORIBBLE experience. My father is in the hospital with COVID! I need to get forms that will allow him to add me to his bank account so that I can pay for his mortgage. The teller told me that he had to come in person to do it. I asked what if they have COVID she said they have to come in person afterwards, I asked what if they are in the hospital with COVID and she said they will have to come afterwards, then I asked her what if they die before they can come and she said they still had to go in person. I had called Chase online the prior day and was instructed to go to a branch, get the forms, have my father fill them out and mail them back. This young woman clearly was not trained to handle these type of situations. I will go to another branch to get this resolved. Thank you for making things more stressful than what they already are. This is not my first bad experience with Chase as a whole. I personally don’t bank with them due to prior experiences.

Unfortunately, I've experienced I horrible time at Chase. A close friend of mine has the condition Phocomelia; on January sixth he attempt to cash a check as he normally would. Usually his father would write his name on the back of a check made out to him, but my friend needs to present with identification. On this particular day, he was attended by someone unaccepting of him as a person; although I understand some people are struck by my friends condition, but he's nothing abnormal. The attendant proceed to complicate my friends simple and regular task by being unsure if it his father, writing his name was allowed. She spent approximately thirty minutes doing this, even enough to "look it up online."

I would give 0 stars if it were possible. The teller (her name is Anahi) in te drive thru shorted me $80. Long story short...I gave her $600 in 20 dollar bills and asked for all 5 dollar bills. The teller then proceeds to take an extremely long time to process my request. Afterwards, she returned to the window and handed me my money. I counted the bills she gave me and I realized it was only $520. I questioned her and she told me I had only given her $520. Now the bank is telling me that her account didn’t have any extra money and are implying that I was lying. I have called Chase and they have launched an investigation. Hopefully this can be resolved. The tellers here are not bright. They are all products of the high schools in the surrounding area and apparently never learned to count. AVOID THIS BRANCH!!!

Came to open a checking account. First, we came and there was only 1 person who could open a new account. She was out on an hour lunch. So we made an appointment at 12. Partially our fault for not having the right ID for the 12pm appointment so we made another appointment at 1pm. The banker had over booked herself, so she called us to reschedule for 2pm. I surely won’t recommend this specific branch to anyone I know again.

My husband has been with this company since before they came to Houston and they were capital one... They have become the worst company the worst bank.. As of May me and my husband will no longer affiliate ourself with such con-artists.. This bank only cares about the Almighty dollar. But they will not receive one more dollar from me..
