I generally do all my banking close to home at the Chase Bank on Blue Diamond. Today I stopped into the branch on Durango Dr. and Warm Springs and was surprised to see not one, not two, but three, yes, three bank tellers. At the branch I usually bank at, you're lucky to see two tellers, and usually, there's only one. Being helped by tellers is something that I used to be accustomed to and took for granted when I was younger. But now, tellers are a dying breed, and it's infrequent you see more than one or two at the same time. I assume we're all being trained over time to use an electronic teller system, much like the supermarkets' automated checkout lines. I know it's not something that would generally rank up there with exceptional customer service or even good service, but I guess we've all been trained to think of something as small as an extra bank teller as something special. For that reason, I'm giving this branch four stars instead of three. Oh, and by the way, don't ever take pictures inside a bank; you'll get nothing but stares, scowls, and photographs of you taking pictures. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up on a poster somewhere plastered on a wall. So I suggest that you never take any bank pictures, especially of the inside. RECOMMENDED: Yes SERVICE: Good PRICE: N/A COVID: Practices pandemic regulations. PARKING: Convenient REASON/INTENT: Banking

Horrible customer service at this branch. Chase bank is still in the dark ages of the fax machine. I need to submit documents to back a fraudulent claim on my account. I don't own a fax machine and Chase does not have an email address I can forward said documents to. I was instructed to go to my nearest branch which unfortunately is this location. I have even been here many times but never interfaced with Chase staff only the ATM. I prefer the ATM. I asked the branch manager bald man in a suit for help but get a rude snippy reply like I was bothering him. Wish they would hire one of those AI robots that roll around on wheels asking customers if they need help because it would be a nicer experience.

TLDR: Trying to find another bank All I wanted to do was open an investing account that allowed margin. Apparently, this is too difficult. I set up an appointment through the website and wrote in the notes EXACTLY what I wanted. The scheduled a meeting a couple days later. I got a call 10 minutes before the meeting saying they can't create the account that day because THEY set up the wrong adviser and you need a JP Morgan Adviser. I'm thinking, fine, a small mistake. They set up an appointment on the phone for 4pm. I got a call at 4:25pm. Did I an apology or a "my bad?" No, because promptness is not something that's valued at this branch and they literally don't value my time. When I finally get the call, the guy on the other end tells me they can't open up the account for me and they'll call me back another adviser in a couple days. Apparently banking with them for years and even having my business account with them isn't enough for them to treat me like an actual customer. Tomorrow, I'm gonna look for alternatives to Chase in both investing and banking.

My account was locked when I tried to use Zelle. I was told that I had to make an appointment at a branch to get it unlocked. I went to the branch with my identification and the person Jenny Yoon, demanded to know what the payment was for. I told her that I it wasn't her business how I spent my money, she refused to unlock my account unless I told her what the Zelle payment was for. Because of this, I have closed my account. She was happy to perform this service for me. I apparently am not white enough and have too many tattoos to do business with Chase.

This location has been using a strong scent, perhaps a wax candle, the last 2 times I’ve been there with my daughter. The scent immediately gives her the beginnings of a migraine which she has reported to the tellers. If you will research the subject you will see that she is not alone on this issue. She mentioned this twice to the teller who was not sympathetic or apologetic. We like this location because it is so close, but there are many others. We will visit one more time before going somewhere else. There is no drive-thru banking, except for an ATM, and no restrooms for customers.

I applied for SBA loan through SBA website and got approved with the EIDL grant. I'm an independent contractor, gig worker and don't need a business account. I opened account with Chase 2 weeks ago because I was told that it will be hard to get funded using VARO (it's what I used to do transactions). Once the EIDL grant hit my account, Chase froze and locked my account and wants me to show proof of business. Kept showing me the requirements they need to take money out of a business account. My money was deposited to my personal account. If you are a sole proprietor or independent contractor you don't need a business bank account. Why would Chase withhold my grant?? I should be able to use my personal account as a business one because I used my SSN when I applied for the loan.

Worst bank I've ever been to!! Just to be clear, this review has nothing to do with Chase, it's about the people working there!! I got there at 4pm to see a banker to open an account, a chubby lady told me it's going to be a 15-20minute wait. Then of course, another lady came up to me at 5pm (one hour later) asking me if I want to set up an appointment for tomorrow since it's too late today and most of the bankers are getting off. ONE HOUR OR WORTHLESS WAITING!! I admit my attitude wasn't the best at the moment and I'm guessing she didn't want to deal with me, so she called out a banker. He said the samething to me, make an appointment for tomorrow, and then he went back to help the customer he was helping. I went to another banker, Asian lady, who seemed like has nothing to do anyways. She told me she can't help me today, because she gets off in half hour. Lolll, halirious!!!! A quick message to Chase, you just hired a bunch lazy butts who just sit around during the last half hour of their shifts doing nothing but pissing off customers!!

I normally dont like to write reviews about places because I work in customer service but this needed to be posted. I just moved to this side of town and needed to find a chase location to make my weekly deposit. my first experience here was not great and ironically I had the same teller and her name is Chelsea. she was rude the first time I was at this location but I blew it off because I need to have a chase bank close by. I went in today and unfortunately she was the teller that I chose to use again and once again terrible customer service. it is not my fault or any other persons fault that your life sucks and you choose to let your work performance suffer. she really needs coaching on customer service and also the managers in charge should tell her that she needs to smile. on top of that it would not hurt to tell your customers to have a nice evening or a merry Christmas but this teller obviously doesnt care and I am assuming thats why neither of these things happened. I have been a chase customer for over 10 years and I have never had this problem so therefore I will not be going to this location since customer service is that terrible. I really hope management gets to read this and they choose to contact me.

If I would have read the reviews of this branch, I could have saved time by not even visiting this location- I received the coupon in the mall to open an acct and get $300, so I figure why not? I currently have Wells Fargo, never had problems, but with whats going on in the news about them I've gotten a little worried. My mom and a friend have Chase and they both have no problems. so Friday, Dec 30- I walk into the branch at 915 and am greeted by the woman helping people in line (2 people ahead of me). I show her the coupon and tell her I want to open an acct. She tells me someone is available at 9:30. I'm like perfect I have to work at 11. So ten minutes pass and she walks over to me and says, "would you like to make an appt? we dont have any available bankers"... so I ask her for when and she replies 11am. I'm like NO, I have to work at 11, thats why I came here NOW to quickly open a bank account, the coupon expires tomorrow! She is like "would you like to make an appt for another day? and I told her NO, I work until Wednesday, the coupon EXPIRES TOMORROW" and I left. Keep in mind when I walked in, there were bankers just sitting, one man was on the phone. As the woman was asking if I wanted to set the appt for 11, she was literally walking me to the door, where the banker who was on the phone when I walked in, was now holding the door open for me. Opening an acct is literally like 10 minutes, if that. You first tell me there are bankers free, then suddenly there arent yet you both seem eager to push me out the door! My complaint has nothing to do with the Bank as a whole but the poor staff at the branch....Its pathetic!

The reviews are very accurate here. First, hire more people please.... Second, make sure they get well trained. I have attempted 2 times to open an account. I chose this location because it was convenvient since it's next to my work but it wasn't worth it. Not sure if it's Chase to blaim or staffing buy why is the process of opening a account so LONG
