I have multiple business and personal account with Chase. I called during the morning to see if a notary was in that day. I was informed yes, the notary was busy in the morning, but if I arrived before 2pm she could see me. I arrived at 1:30pm per the instruction and was turned away. The notary was technically available (I saw her in the office) but needed a break before a meeting at 2pm. I was asked to return after 3pm. As a working professional, it was hard enough to get time out of my day to arrive at 1:30. I don’t know what I could have done differently here. I rely on my bank to do business, occasionally it’s time sensitive, and it’s a problem when they make it so that I can’t do business.

Awful. Absolutely awful. I was refused service for my business and personal accounts. They seem to not understand what a sole proprietorship is. The concierge at the front was condescending and was hostile. They refused to cash checks made out to me and my business, even though I have done it many times at several different locations. I even showed them receipts of recent transactions and they still refused. Additionally, even though they saw on my account and information section I’m a dr and have a business entity they kept calling me ‘Mr’ and ‘buddy’. Went a branch over, and got it taken care of instantly with no questions whatsoever. Unbelievable that this branch is still open. I will definitely be following up with this. Management see attached and do better.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. It took an hour for the most basic bank-to-bank wire transfer. I would not come back to this branch again.

They will take their sweet time don’t go there if you are in rush

3/29/21 @ 1 pm or so my boyfriend and I went into open a business account ( he’s a member for over 5 years) and thier was a young white gentleman who seemed agitated when we walked in. We were dressed classy and presentable and when we told him what we wanted he tried to divert us to another branch. Then he told us it would an hour and then AGAIN tried to get us to go to another branch!!! The Business account manager was currently working on a business account with another person. We told him we could wait bc we was not from the DC area and we just wanted to get this account created and be done with it. So, he was shocked when we said we could wait. He gave us pen and paper so he could give us a call when she finished setting up the current clients business account. This guy was very skiddish around us and nervous like. We ate and received a call from the branch stating “ they don’t have time to help us” !! We calmly and curiously asked why? She proceeded to tell by boyfriend to come back on Wednesday and we re-explained this is the ONLY time we can get this task accomplished. She continued to say she don’t have time for us and and can’t do it! So disappointing ... but the Chase bank on 1401 New York Ave., Northwest helped us out and reported thier discriminating ways and Maurice was soooooo helpful!!!! Thank you Chase bank on New York Ave Nw in DC!!!

I was here to open a bank account and didn’t have an appointment but they managed to squeeze me in. Good service and very friendly staffs.

I attempted to stop to opening an account and they were closed at 4:45 as opposed to the 6:00 pm EST closing time which listed on Google and mentioned via the call-line. Not a great first impression.

By far the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had with any bank branch.

It is not a favorable opinion.
