Why oh why did the dealership assisgn this credit union with so many bad reviews. Now I am stuck with them and a new car loan for many years. First call, in the middle of a conversation and hung up on me. When will I get my loan paperwork.

this company is a dump customer service they tell you that a specialist will call you and nothing happens they never talk to you. I canceled some guarantees on my car 4 months ago and to this day they have not canceled me but they continue to charge me the interest

This place is awful I deposited cash to pay rent not only did they not put it in my account they have my month their customer service are a bunch of liars I don’t usually write reviews but I need to warn ppl don’t do any business with them, now my rent is a week late due to this trash place

DO NOT USE THIS BANK! It is a SCAM! They will give you assurances that they care but they do not! I signed up for a spend $10 with 10 transactions and they would give you $100 back. The card stopped working by the 6th transaction. I checked every time I was going to use it that it had money on it and I did! This last time I went to use the card and it declined. I called and they said that I would have to call back in the more because the "card experts" are gone for the day. I called back the next morning at the time they said they would be open and they said they were closed. I called a few minutes later and they said it was an ongoing issue and they were fixing it. I called two days later and they said that I would have to go to the bank. So I went to the bank and they said that I would have to call. So I called right there is the parking lot and they said that this is an ongoing issue and they are working on it. I tried for months to get this fixed and at the same time they were charging me declining fees, I had fraud, and they charged me for not using the account! This last lady didn't care and told me if i wanted it fixed then all I had to do was pay the fees! THEY ARE CON ARTISTS! DO. NOT. GO. TO. ANY. OF. THEIR. BANKS!

I have never had a been more upset with a financial institution. I purchased a car, and received my loan through Chartway. That was in September of 2017. To this day, I can never simply make a payment. I've had to have accounts rebuilt, I call almost every month. They act like I'm an idiot, all the while it is their system that is malfunctioning. At this very moment, I can log in, but they simply can't find the account for me to pay. I have never had to work so hard to get someone to take my money. It's ridiculous, and the people I speak with are beyond incompetent.

Never again will I do business or recommend Chartway. Paid my veh off nearly 1 month ago & was told I’d have the title in 10 days. Chartway says 1), it was mailed to my house from California, 2) it was mailed to my mailing address from Virginia, 3) they don’t do paper titles so they released it to the State DMV electronically. I’ve asked if they could send me an email to verify that the loan is paid, the title is clear & has been released & they only say they can request that but that hasn’t been delivered either. Where’s the title Chartway???

Worst credit union I’ve ever come in contact with. Worst service. No one ever seems to know what they’re talking about and can never help with any issues that arise. And the ATM is hardly ever in service and when it is, it takes your money without depositing and takes 2+ weeks to get it back. Wish I could give less than 1 Star.

I have been with Chartway FCU for almost 2 years now. Thoroughly impressed with their customer service. Sara DeBee at the FM 1960 location is a pleasure to work with.
