Centier Bank E 84th Ave, Merrillville

Called customer service to transfer my IRA that my previous employer sent there without my consent. Of course they require a notarized form and additional fees to transfer the funds to the bank that I choose. Would not recommend doing business with them.

It’s unfortunate that I go and have to file a bbb complaint cause they won’t refund late fees. This bank already rips me off in interest and their collection in house calls non stop when you tell them to stop. Then the VP of collection has no customer service at all. I am sure cause I told them to stop calling me that’s why they won’t refund. He says in your case we can’t refund. Even though the bank can refund he says. Just not for you.

If you need a mortgage loan officer, I would highly recommend Karyn Fish at Centier. She was kind, responsive, knowledgeable, honest, made the process easy, and had the best rates. I have worked with quite a few mortgage loan officers, and hands down, Karyn is the best.

IF YOU’RE NOT IN A RUSH, THEN GO TO CENTIER BANK. I opened 2 business checking accounts 17 days ago at the Mishawaka branch. I still have not gotten either one of my debit cards. Seriously? My business is LITERALLY a 1 hour drive to the corporate office in Merrillville, IN. It was mailed out 10 days ago. Is it coming by carrier pigeon? I could have walked there and picked it up by now. VERY unhappy with Centier Bank. When I called corporate, they said the same thing as the branch....”Do you want us to order you a new card?” I asked how long that would take. 7-10 business days. So I’ve already waited almost 3 weeks to NOT get my debit cards, and now they want me to wait another 3 weeks and hope it actually shows up? What’s a joke. I have things I need to pay for with the debit card I can’t because I don’t have it. I should have went to PNC like I was originally going to. They give you your business debit cards on the spot.

Lew King is the top loan advisor out there. I went through him for my home and it was a great experience all around! Great guy!!
