Carefree Title N Loop, San Antonio

2722 W Bitters office. We were put in a room and waited 30 minutes after our appointment till they even brought our papers in for signing. After signing, we waited over an hour for keys. This is our 5th house we've bought. We've never had to wait for keys after signing.

Worst title company I've ever dealt with! From the greeting at the door with myself and my clients on closing day, the staff was rude and seemed like they couldn't care less about the customer. They made my clients wait 3 hours until they received their keys and didn't seem to care about it. They made very little attempt to rectify anything with the lender. At least they named themselves accordingly...Care Free definitely fits them because they don't seem to care at all.

BE AWARE!!!!! For the office in San Antonio on W. Bitters St. This is the worst experience I have gone through. I don't know what kind of business the two women that work there are running but today I went in and they gave me someone else's commission check I went back to return it and the secretary or assistant told me, they didn't have my commission check so I could just close the door and leave because they did not need our business. It was very unprofessional and I will never do business with them or bring them business.

They should change the name to "Careless Title". The most terrible and incompetent title co I've seen. They never sent the title commitment and the HOA resale packet to my client for review prior to closing. Closing time finally scheduled and we waited for more an hour. They were an hour behind. Very disorganized. Horrible service!. It has been 2 days since we closed and i haven't received my commission. They said, 48 hours after closing and audit, then, they will send out agent's commission. This is not motivate me to sell Meritage home again. Horrible and terrible customer service therefore, they should change their name to Careless Title .

This review is in regards to their Dallas office. Horrible experience and would pay to not do business with them again. Had to wait 1 hour before they were ready with my closing documents. Received a phone call 2 hours after signing everything asking if I could come back and sign a few pages they left out (I was already back at home which was an hour away). My own realtor jumped in and brought me the paperwork and faxed it back to them. Then received another call telling me that they needed one more signature. They didn't apologize and my closer (Chauncey) who said he would call me back never did. My realtor was the one who had to folllow-up and make sure that everything was completed. Never received a phone call stating that the loan was funded even after we asked for confirmation. Worst title company I've ever dealt with and my realtor agrees 100%!

This review is for the Austin Meritage Homes location. Staff is unable to answer questions effectively. I work in the high end services business and understand all data points that need to be convey and I was given false information that ended up costing me thousands in lost time and moving expenses. Unfortunately the people that work here offer no human support and abide by all the corporate rules of the world instead of understanding every day situations. In addition to the horrible customer service you will receive here you will also have the privilege of keeping the half dozen dead trees they give you in the form of useless paper work. They should offer an electronic only option so I don't have to properly depose of 10lbs of paper with my personal information all over it. Would never do business with this title company and if you are purchasing a Meritage home in the Austin area do yourself a favor and demand a different title company.

If there is a star less than 1, thats what I would rate this company. They refuse to work with their clients and really create a terrible customer experience. I will never be recommending this company to anyone.
