CapStar Bank Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Murfreesboro

This is banking like it use to be! What a pleasant experience to be able to walk in and talk to someone that knows you by name. No 1-800 you must call with endless hold times, and no talking to someone thru a computer screen. In my wife and I's personal experience, Freda Morgan took time to understand our financial needs, and worked diligently to assist us with those needs. Everyone I have interacted with at FNB has been professional, and so kind. My father has banked with FNB for years, and I am glad he recommended I make the switch! Oh yes, they have cookies also! :)

I would NOT recommend this bank to anyone, I am in the process of closing my account out with them never to return. We (me and my boyfriend) have been in the process of building a house this past year, we had someone come out and do concrete work and it was the worst work I have ever seen. We went to our bank and stopped payment on his check due to the work not being performed or completed properly. Months go by without a word then we were served with papers where First National had sued us for the money, attorney fees, and court cost, they had allowed the contractor ERIC CAMPBELL to cash the check. Instead of them getting their money from him they sued us and placed a lien on our property holding us up from closing on time. When we attempted to contact their attorneys and the manager at the bank FREDA they were all extremely RUDE and all they could say is "We just want our money". This is not the way you handle business!!!!! We ended up having to pay this off in order to close, so the contractor ERIC CAMPBELL is running loose with $1450.00 and ZERO consequences and we are out all the money it took to fix his mess plus over $2400.00 to this bank!!! I hope and pray that no one else ever has to get screwed over by this bank!!!!
