Need to improve tellers customer service skills. I received a lot of attitude for simply asking to look up an account holders account number so I could make a deposit. Even though you update a banks appearance, the customer skills must follow suit as well.

BE AWARE. No Privacy, Safety is in question for customers. I recently opened an account online, wanting to venture out to another bank besides the credit union. After research I said let me give Capital One a try since they have quite a few branches near me. With my recent visit to this branch (Clinton) I did not have any privacy during my interaction/transaction with the teller. The line is so close to you that your transaction can be heard clearly and seen by any persons standing in line. I was depositing a large sum of money by check and could not do so because I needed a different type of account and document. This was understandable and was not an issue. The issue came when the teller exposed my check by holding it up where as the folks in the line could view. They could also hear the conversation about the check and drposit. A guy in the line made a statement to us, “I’m an accountant if you need help.” I say, “No thank you we have an accountant.” I turned back around to the teller and he made another statement, “If you did they should of told you what you needed.” Immediately, I felt uneasy and uncomfotable being in this bank. I wanted to get to my car and away as fast as posdible. Why is this questionable stranger in my conversation/transaction with the teller? And being confrontational with me about my transaction and me simply saying, “No thank you!” I did not finish asking questions to the teller to get the proper paper work to move forward due to lack of privacy, safety and security. The bank may not see this as an issue but this is a major issue. This can cause folks to be targeted for robbery. When you leave this bank and have a person in the bank with potential ill intentions such as following a person out the bank, following them to their home or anywhere to rob them the bank will never know. Why because this did not happen at the bank and will not be linked back to the fact that personal account information such as balance, deposit and transactions are made untentionally public to those folks in the line with you. The bank has security protocols for themselves and transactions I’m sure. But, there needs to be a customer’s security protocol in place, as simple as providing privacy during teller interactions. I think the bank should really reconsider their layout to prevent the potential robbery or harm to customers outside their branch, give customer a sense of security and privacy while interacting and conducting personal transaction with the teller. MOVE THE LINE BACK FURTHER or if can’t change layout leave the line at the door or better yet CLOSE this specfic branch.
This certainly isn't the experience or impression we aim for - security is a top priority so it looks like we missed the mark here. We passed this along to our branch leadership to ensure this feedback doesn't go by the wayside. ^AJS

Would give 0 if I could. Everytime I come here they have a long line & not enough tellers. Every single time. Doesn't matter what time or day. I take the company deposits here regularly and they force me to provide my personal social security number. This is appalling that I am supposed to write down or say my social in a full lobby EVERYTIME for a bank that isn't even mine. Unacceptable.
Hey April - We feel your frustration and understand the impact these changes may have. Customer experience is always at the front of our minds as we walk that fine line between convenience and security, both of which are at the heart of these updates. Feedback's key with changes like these and we've doc'd this comment for our branch leadership to make sure your voice is heard. ^AJS

I came in the bank to cash a check. But seeing and enjoying the atmosphere and customer service from James Booker i choose to hear and open up an account with the bank. I like what i saw and heard from James and was excited about the direction Cap 1 is headed.
We looked into the future of banking...let's just say we're stocking up on sunscreen, and our shades are at the ready at all times. ;-) ^JG

Slow service! The lines are always long for any kind of inquiries. The teller line seems to be always understaffed. I wish they were more choices for banks so I could take my business elsewhere.

The tellers have horrible customer service! They have the lines going out the door while they take breaks in the back to eat. Very unprofessional need to improve asap

I had the opportunity to bank here and I'd recommend it as a great service location. The interaction of staff with the "regulars" seemed personal and tailored.

I drove very far to get here, on getting here only to find out that they are closed, and showing they are open on the app, confusing and wasting people's time. Very unprofessional! Need to update your app!
