Teller was rude. Asked for manager who avoided me purposely when he heard me ask for him. Manager Miguel Melendez was rude, sarcastic and very disrespectful. I can’t believe a large corporation would accept this from a manager. Customer service is not a priority at this bank!

I had really high hopes for a great relationship with this bank. I did my research and concluded that they could help me achieve my financial goals. However, their customer service is horrible. I went into the branch and they asked me if I had filled out an application online. I had not because I was looking for a brick and mortar location that would handle all the paperwork for me. Then, the lady refused to open me an account because I had a Mississippi address on a Florida Driver's License. However, I had my Birth Certificate and Social Security card. She asked for a Passport. So, I drove down the street to Keesler Federal Credit Union where Leslie Prestenbach rolled out the red carpet and earned my business the old fashion way through excellent customer service. I am so glad that Capital One did not earn my business because I am SO satisfied with Keesler.

I've never went through so much to get MY money out of my account. Customer service does NOT live there. I had to provide 3 forms of Identification. Then questioned by 3 different people why I'm withdrawing my money. I gave them the reason and was told they have to ask back office for clearance. Then was told I'd have to come back to the location in the morning since they're closing. Considering banking somewhere else because they don't deserve my business. ETA: I went back the next morning in my USPS uniform and the same teller helped me. This time she only asked for my state ID and 1 additional form of identification. Would you believe she and the male manager told me they had my account locked for suspicious activity! I asked "What suspicious activity?" I was told "the checks being deposited from US FED." I looked down at the eagle on this big blue uniform then back at them. I was so shocked and frustrated I asked for my ID back so I could leave. That took another 5 minutes to give me.

I've never had a bad experience with any of the bank employees. They're always pleasant and helpful. I did find myself a bit upset when the branch nearest me was closed. Then when I got over how important I thought I was and realized that the bank out of concern for its employees. They opted to close to prevent the spread of the coronavirus to its employees and their customers.. Good Job 👍

This is the worst bank ever. I gave them zero stars. I tried to deposit my check into my account. They will not accept my check. They advised me to cash my insurance check at Walmart. I always have problems with this bank. I never had so many issues banking with other banks as I have had with capital one. This is not a good bank to bank with.

Horrible! I felt as if I was treated like a criminal my second time visiting this bank as a customer! So.... I go to this location here in Sledell, LA off of Gause Blvd and I was not pleased at all! I looked online because I needed to withdraw money from a card that was not a Capitol One card, the online information said that the atm fee was $2.50 but turned out to be $3.00. I needed to deposite the withdrawn money from the Capitol One atm into my Capitol One bank account. Now I could have gotten accurate information from a representative at the bank, but after calling on different business days multiple times at different times, I recieved no answer. I also had a question, being curious about the availability of cash deposites once deposited, being that I had to wait 48 hours after I deposited $200.00 cash on the first day I opened my account. Why, I don't know! I just wanted to make sure that was not a normal thing for my cash availability. I walk to the counter where customers fill out deposite slips and realized that I needed some money cash app to me to cover the atm fee. So I'm standing there on the phone waiting for my money to be transferred through. My mom walks in with her back pack being that's who I was waiting on, but she was having complications with her app and walked in to continue solving her issue just in case she had to withdraw some money instead of using the app! Now, I understand that safety is the top priority, but as I'm handling my business I notice that I'm being watched and looked at repeatedly with no digression by the three tellers that I was facing! When I was done with my business I walked towards the teller and an officer walks in past me and stands on the wall behind the deposite table where I had just walked away from to stand in line! I stand in line, the teller, who seems uneasy calls me forward. I remain calm, though I feel (highly offended and profiled at this point) ask my questions and exit the bank! Now, as I previously stated I understand %100 how the situation may have looked, but to make it obvious that you're profiling your customer, ( a new customer) was a major problem for me!!! I've been in Slidell for 2 months coming from Atlanta and I have never encountered this sort of profiling and uncomfortability from any bank that i've banked with! Especially with an establishment that I have chosen to hold my money and keep it safe! Also, I've never been in a bank where there was not a floor attendant to ask me if I needed any assistance. If that were the case, the attendant could have asked me if I needed help with something and i could have explained the situation then and I would be using my valuable time to write a report of a review! I will be going back to the bank and speaking with management and I will also be contacting corporate and going as high up as I need to due to the disrespect/ uncomfortability that I felt! The staff were not smiling or welcoming and could care less about me being their customer! If that's the case they should be replaced with robots, of whom we'd expect no personality from or no practicing of customer appreciation! I feel highly offended, b The staff most definitely needs to be retrained! This could have been a situation turned bad with an officer walking in with the thought on his mind that I a customer is a suspect and me making the wrong move, him being " afraid for his life" and me or my mom being murdered with no justice! If this has happened to me on only my second visit and I stress (as a new customer) I can almost guarantee this is happening on a regular basis! This could all be a misunderstanding, and maybe a matter of staff needing to be retrained. Hopefully I can continue my banking with Capital One Bank on Gause in the future!

I had a charge made on my account that I came to the bank to dispute. All in all this took over 30+ minutes and what I needed to do do is cancel my current debit card and they would issue a new one. I am still waiting at the associates desk on hold on the phone for confirmation of all of this process. I haven't made It to receive my temporary debit card. This is a mess and I have never had these problems before. Capital Onefull servicebank.....
