I want to start my review off by saying that I read the bad reviews online and was expecting the worst. My experience at the bank was great solely because of one person, Dianjcinie (Dee). She treated me with respect and professionalism the entire time I was there. However while I was waiting to be seen I noticed that the other employees were not as professional. They treated the customers as if they were beneath them and criminals when it comes asking for ID, I don't see any problem at all when a bank ask for ID, the way this branch does it is very unprofessional. They absolutely need retraining in customer service or to be reminded to treat others with respect because obviously not all customers are disrespectful or coming into the bank with bad intentions. Huge praise to Dee again and please use her as an example on how to treat others.

Honestly I think this branch does not need to exist or lay off 90% of the ppl here….i do not post reviews a lot but I had 3 interactions with this branch over the course of 12 months and most of the employees seem uninterested in helping you. For the most part everything can be done online but majority of the ppl who visit branches in person want their personal matter expedited which is why they visit the branch. Whether you are here in person or call the general corporate phone number or go to the site FAQ, you get the same service. Ergo, there is no need for 90% of the employees in the branch. The entire atmosphere seems sad and disinterested. It has actually made me feel I should go bank elsewhere. I would not recommend coming to this capital one branch if you have the option to go elsewhere.

I am truly not trying to make this a race thing. But if you are black. Trust me stay away. Once they see your skin color they are already on the offense .wanted to open up a business account, and their demeanor was very off putting.. smh. I don't recommend this branch.. ..

Worst experience ever, Brian was the teller and he said that my activity seem suspicious so he took a long time to verify my information, it didn’t matter that I had my state ID with me and my debit card apart from that another person that works there which I didn’t get her name told me I’m doing illegal activity which Was not true and she gave me misinformation.

Two tellers talking to each other while one person (me) waits to get service. They can't help you reset you password on your ATM card because they have NO costumer service. The teller told me to call the number on the back of my card. If you have a brick and mortar bank, you should have employees to help with these type of issues. I call the number and have to wait 3 business days to get my password in the mail. Moving my money to bank that has workers and doesn't use Covid as an excuse to leave the customer to fend for themselves.

I really have no problems with most of the employees that work here. Yincely, however, is another story. That woman won’t remember your face no matter how many times you come across her. She’s rude and needs HR sensitive training!! She’s the only one that loves to say I’ve never seen you before, when you literally came across her more than a handful of times! What kind of customer service is it if she can’t remember simple faces?! She’s the only one who asked people for I.d. Even if they been coming for years!! I wouldn’t have a problem with the I.d. Part, but what’s wrong with that woman’s recollection of people? Only remember who you like?! She is rude every time, and I literally would rather wait on the line for another teller; however long the line is!!!! This branch has many problems! Including the atm!!! How much worse are they going to get? They fix them and they just make getting our money or doing any other transactions impossible! Went the other day to the atm in the back, excruciating experience ever! How many times do I have to stick my card back in before it stops saying error?!!! I went to the one in the front and I got out what I needed! It however took forever!! Lines take long, and you need to have more tellers working, so the lines don’t get backed up with thousands of people!!! There’s more to be said, but I’ve already given my opinion plenty times as did others. If we won’t be heard, I’m sure people just give up and move elsewhere with their business. Other branches are better!!! They have atms that let you take $1, $5, $10, and so forth. Where are the improvements with this location? Save your energy!! Chase Bank is around the corner.

I probably change my bank account to Capital One soon ( I have Bank of America) I was there to open account for my daughter who is 15yrs old, before I went to Capital One, I called Chase and Bank of America to ask what I need to bring in order to open account for my daughter since she was only 15. They were so rude on the phone and asked so many things( I don’t mine if I had to bring 20 IDs), one of my friend recommended me to go Capital One which I did and so pleased with the service and ended up open my own checking account. Staffs were very kind and I felt I was welcomed by them. Highly recommend location in Fresh Meadows. ( the bank location posted wrong, its in Fresh Meadow location)

ATM ate my check, filed a claim and they couldn’t find the paper check in the ATM? Don’t ever use their ATMs to deposit anything!! They’re unreliable and if they investigate, will take your provisional credit back. So one, I lost my check basically losing money, then them giving me a credit for them to take it back cause they couldn’t find it!!! Ridiculous!! Twice now they have taken my money and I am in the same predicament I was back in October when this originally happened. Thanks to this specific branch for making my holidays stress free. #sarcasm

I have had an acount for 20 years and today I went in to ask for penny wrappers , the teller Denise gave me 5 of each and when I asked for more she said they have a limit. I told her I had an account at this bank and she shook her head and told me to go to the 99 cent store. I gotta switch to TD bank asap.
